Continuing Past Bradley

"Thank you, B"

"No problem! See you tomorrow" I smiled at her as she slowly got into her car and drives up the driveway.

Instantly I found myself missing her.

I started for the long walk and instantly dreaded going home to my girlfriend. She was gonna be concerned to why my car is missing and why I walked home.

The walk lasted about an hour until I found myself on the front steps of her house. We used to live in mine before she begged me to move to hers. Sooner or later I have a feeling we are gonna be purchasing a new house that we wouldn't need together.

When I opened the door I found Irina sitting of the gray couch with a glass of red wine in her hands.

"Hello Bradley" she mumbled not wanting to break away from her show

"Hey" I set my keys down in the glass bowl next to the door and headed for the kitchen

"How was work?"

"Long and exhausting" my tone was low as I needed to get upstairs to call Stefani

"That's awful" she stood and walked towards me

"Yeah I guess"

"So are we going to ignore that fact that you came home an hour later than you told me and your car is still at the lot?" She slightly raised her voice

"I wanted to walk home" I opened the fridge slightly nudging the bottles of summer shandy before deciding on a water

"So you left your very expensive car on a movie lot?" Her eyes followed my every move

"There secur-" I paused noticing she had her full face of makeup on and a black dress "Why are you so dressed up"

"None of your business" she snapped

I headed to the stairs as she followed me.

"Stop acting like an effing five-year-old," I mumbled under my breath

"Wanna say that a bit louder Mister Cooper" she grabbed ahold of my arm and stopped me

"Grow the fuck up Irina" I pulled back and continued the walk

She gasped as a response with her hands meeting her face.

"Yeah" I replied lowly

"Because of that you just revived an invitation to sleep in the guest bedroom"

"So are we not gonna pretend I sleep there six out of the seven nights in a week" we reached the upstairs landing and headed for the master

"Bitch" she spits

"Whore" I snapped back

She grabbed her chest and breathed in.

"Take it back," She said in a single breath

"That's exactly what I did! I took it back"
