"Good," He sighs, clasping his hands together and rubbing in anticipation. "Let's begin, then."

"Namjoon, you know the most about the Darkside, so you can explain that part while I go and check on something," Yoongi says hurriedly while checking his watch before jumping off the couch and jogging out of the room. You watch quizzically, but none of the members seem to be fazed.

"So, Y/N, I'm assuming you don't know much about here?" Namjoon asks you in a kind and quiet voice. You instantly like his personality, and how careful he is being not to frighten you. He may be intelligent and calculating, but at least he acts nice.

You shake your head. "Not much," You admit. "I only know that it's a separate community to our regular Busan one and..." You were about to tell them about the illegal stuff but decided against it last second.

Namjoon nods. "Okay." He looks up thoughtfully before starting. "The Darkside, as you may call it, has actually been around for a long time, and we have always functioned on separate bases, as we have different family roots and different political opinions that differentiate us from the normal government."

"In order to survive in this community, you need to stick to your family line or form your own group. Usually, most people stick to their family lines, but we formed a group. We'll tell you more about that later," Namjoon says, raising a finger, knowing you wanted to ask about his group.

"In the Darkside, you have to be very careful. There are many kinds of people in this community, some bad, some good. If you're unfortunate enough to run into a bad area... let's just say it won't end well for you unless you're a qualified member of the Darkside. If you need to come here for some reason, contact us and have us pick you up. Don't just wander in here," Namjoon warns.

You gulp, thinking of that night earlier on when you'd almost been attacked. If it weren't for Jimin, only God knows where you'd be.

"We also have lots of social events to be at, so that the elites can keep track of the other families and groups in the community," You note down how Namjoon's gaze hardens in distaste when the mention of 'elites' was brought up. "It's also for deals to get through better, but this isn't as important. What you need to know is not to just barge into a social event for everyone like you did last night."

You blush, feeling awkward under his lecture. Namjoon sighs, but still smiles a bit for you. "It's very dangerous for an unknown person to just wander into one of those important events. I'm not going to try and scare you, but I know that they probably already have their eyes on you, now curious about your identity."

He bites the inside of his cheek, thinking. "Alright. I think that's all that you need to know for now about the Darkside, just to keep yourself safe. Remember what I said, okay?" You nod.

"Seokjin, can you tell her more about the grouping? I'm gonna go check on Yoongi," Namjoon's voice rings with authority, and it's obvious that even if Seokjin wanted to reject him, he wouldn't be able to. Namjoon offers Seokjin a smile, patting his arm affectionately before leaving the room.

"Y/N, come with me." He gets up and watches you intently, gesturing for you to get up too. You stand and Jimin does so too, grabbing onto your arm. He earns a disapproving glance from Seokjin.

"Chim," Seokjin says softly. "You can trust me on this, okay?"

Jimin hesitates for a moment, still holding onto your arm firmly. After a couple of seconds, his grip lightens and he lets go, sitting back into the sofa reluctantly. Seokjin smiles lightly at him before turning his attention back to you. "Follow me," He orders and walks towards the door.

You take one last look at Jimin, who's watching you with a slightly worried and regretful expression. Getting a couple of chills from his intense look, you turn away from him and stride to the door as fast as you could, knowing that if you stayed in the room any longer you'd be compelled to stay with Jimin.
