Thankfully, due to Taehyung's powerful medicine, Jungkook hadn't suffered too much from the fall off the cliff. He hadn't suffered any severe head injuries, and thankfully, none of his bones had broken at the time. But he had drunk in a lot of saltwater from the ocean, making him extremely dehydrated.
It had taken a while for his body to recover from jumping from such large heights, but he was very close to making a full recovery.
Taehyung used to watch you carefully every time you entered the medical room to check up on Jungkook. Making sure that you didn't do anything out of line, or hurt him. But now, he no longer felt that his presence was required, and he left the two of you alone.
It was the same with the rest of Bangtan. At first, some of them apart from Seokjin and Jimin weren't really used to your presence, their eyes watching you wherever you went in the house. They had seemed wary at first, not knowing what to expect, but after spending nearly every evening here, they no longer kept their eyes on you.
In fact, most of them had started interacting with you regularly, welcoming you with open arms. Hoseok was the most open, always there to brighten up the mood with his ever-wide smile.
Mirah, however, was another case.
Instead of looking at you with the venom you had first seen in her eyes, she plainly ignored you now. When you were in a room, she would never look in your direction. She did everything it took to avoid you.
It made you sad. What had you done to her that made her hate you so much?
Because of your acceptance to the fold, you had also found out more about Bangtan. With your quiet and careful observance, you learned of their skills and their jobs. Mirah and Hoseok were the fighters of the group, excelling in martial arts and handling guns.
Taehyung was the scientist and doctor of the group. Namjoon was obviously the leader of the group, helping Yoongi with the deals that happened. Seokjin was second in command, but he rarely used his authority. Jimin mainly took care of everybody's well being. He made sure everyone was well-fed and happy.
Jimin.
The boy had done a 180-degree turn in his mood once he drove you to their house that fateful night. A large smile replaced his once anguished, pained face, and he seemed more animated that night than usual. He back-hugged Taehyung gave a massage to Namjoon, and made dinner, along with the help of Seokjin, for everyone.
Even after breaking down like that, he still put on a brave front and acted like everything was okay.
Jimin was so strong.
You hadn't really discussed that night with him after, but things had obviously changed between the two of you. He no longer gave you the cold-shoulder, but he would often look your way with small, timid smiles, and come up to you to chat.
Friends. That's what you were now.
"Y/N!" A loud-voiced boomed cheerily from behind you. You practically jumped out of your seat in shock, shaking your head before turning to look behind you.
The owner of the voice, Hoseok, shot you a radiant smile before raising a finger and tutting at you. "Yah, don't overtire yourself! Jungkook is well on his way to recovery, you don't always need to watch over him like that."
Your eyes dart to the aforementioned boy, watching his sleeping form with soft eyes. Though he was recovering quickly, thanks to the strange medicine, it made him tired easily, and he slept most of the time.
You yawn, a small smile of your own present on your face. It was good to see him recovering so fast.
Then, you frowned, remembering the incident that had caused all this. You had been very mad at Jungkook, and he was anguished to the point where he had decided to take his own life. But it wasn't this that made you most concerned. It was the event that had made you mad at him.
