I sat on the chair next to Hoseok & looked at him. He wouldn't look at me. What the fuck is going on...?

"Y/N, do you know why you're here?" Eun Bi's silver haired colleague ask me. I looked at him, starting to get worried, and shook my head.

"Y/N, do you remember the companies rules?" He asked sternly. I cocked my head to the side, trying to think which it be they're referring to. He held up a sleek, black phone, and showed me text messages. It's Hoseok's phone.

"Oh.." I said under my breath. Fraternizing. "We're just friends, is there something wrong?"

Now Eun-Bi looked away. She was noticeably upset. "Y/N, do you understand Hoseok's position? What kind of impact they has on the world right now, their impact on the economy of South Korea?" The other man said. He was tall, slim, and wore frameless glasses. Fuck...

"Am I in trouble..?" I asked, my voice starting to get shaky. Did I get him in trouble? He won't even look at me. I glanced back at him, before turning to the rowing corporate workers.

"He can't be distracted, Y/N..." Eun-Bi said, looking back at me. My eyes widened.

"Did I get in trouble? Please, we're just friends! We haven't done anything wrong!" I started to cry. I've destroyed his career.

"He isn't the one in trouble, Y/N." The silver haired man said. "Y/N, we can't have you at this company anymore. Jung Hoseok mustn't be distracted. So we're letting you go."

I gasped, darting to Eun-Bi. "Eun Bi.... this can't be happening..." I said, my words starting to break. I looked at Hoseok, who had started turning his head, furthering his view from me. He couldn't look at me right now. I ran out of the room, trying to keep myself from crying any further.

I ran out of the building, tossing my ID at the fron desk, and running to the alleyway next to the building. I dropped to my knees, placed my elbows on my knees, & sobbed into my hands. My parents. Their business. What am I going to do??? We weren't doing anything wrong.

"Y/N!" I heard my name being called from a familiar voice from distance. I looked towards the entrance of the alley, and saw Hoseok had run to find me. "Y/N!" He called again running over to me. I got up to march away. "Y/N..." He said tapping my shoulder, and turning me to face him.

"What do you want? You weren't even going to fight this? Fight for me?" I became upset, trying to keep my voice down. "I thought we were friends... I thought you cared about me!" I felt hurt.

"I did try, Y/N!" He said, point to himself. "I tried, I talked to them! Y/N, I will make this up to you.. I promise. I will make it right" His demeanor softened, he looked at me with sympathetic eyes.

I started to sob, I could only think of my family. "Hoseok, what am I going to do?" I cried as he pulled me into an embrace. He held the back of my head with his hand, laying my head on his chest. "My family... I need to help them with their shop." I continued crying, leaning my head on him.

"Shhhh.." He softly shooshed me. "Hey..." He held my chin in between his thumb and index finger, tilting my head up to have me look at him. He gave me a comforting smile. "Just take a deep breath, Y/N. I will help take care of you & your family.."

"Hoseok, that's not -" I started to say as he interrupted me.

"I am responsible for your tears, Y/N. Please let me help you" His voice was so calming. He made me feel like everything is going to be okay. "Come on, let's get out of here."

"I have to pack my stuff from the dorm, but I can't go back home." I said as he wiped away my tears with his thumb.

"I bought an apartment awhile back," He started to say. "You can stay there until we figure everything out." He smiled at me, put his arm around my shoulder, and led me to his car.
