Y/N POV:
I awoke just as the sun began to rise, cuddled with a soft wool blanket. I yawned, scratching my head a little confused. Then everything hit me, everything that happened. Hoseok must've tucked me in. I smiled at the thought.
I got up from the couch, stretching my arms above me. And walked into the kitchen, scanning the cabinets for coffee.
I began to brew the coffee, and decided to make breakfast. If there's anything I know I'm good at, it's cooking. It calms me. I love creating, cooking with all the colors and special ingredients excites me. And I love watching the look on people's faces when they enjoy what I've made. I pulled eggs from the refrigerator and sausages from the freezer, and laid out all my ingredients on the counter, and began to cook.
Moments later, I heard Hoseok's bedroom door open. His eyes were so sleepy, I loved his confused, "Good - morning - what - year - is - it" look. I smiled at him.
"Good morning." I said as I began to pore him a cup of coffee. He gave me a sleepy smile and stood next to me.
"Mmm" He hummed as he closed his eyes and whiffed the breakfast aromas. "You didn't have to do this."
"I wanted to." I said as I smiled and looked up at him.
"Oh!" I chirped and grabbed a mug for him, pouring him his coffee and handing him his mug.
It was nice to just have him there. I didn't have to be anything, act any certain way. We didn't have to talk nonstop, or force conversation. It felt so normal. All of this became so comforting.
As we finished our food, there was a knock at the door. Hoseok got up, and checked the monitor before opening it. From afar, I noticed 4 guys huddled behind the door. Hoseok welcomes in Namjoon, Jungkook, Jimin, & Jin.
"Hey! Good morning!" They chimed as the walked into the flat. I smiled sheepishly at them.
"Where's Suga & Taehyung?" Hoseo asked as he shut the door behind them. Jin & Jungkook immediately helped themselves to breakfast as Namjoon & Jimin sat on the couch.
"Yoongi-hyung is probably still sleeping," Jungkook laughed as he took a seat next to me and began eating his food. "And who knows what Taehyung is up to." We chuckled at him.
"Thank you guys for helping me out." I said as I turned to face everyone, still in my seat. "This whole thing is kind of embarrassing, but I really appreciate you guys."
"We're family." Namjoon smiled. Though he's only a few months older than me, he feels like a big brother. I smiled back at him, and finished my meal.
...
I went with the guys to gather my things. A van picked us up from Hoseok's flat. Jungkook sat at the front, Jimin, Namjoon, and Jin sat in the next row, and Hoseok and I in the back. As we drove to my old dorm, stress began to overtake me again.
I felt Hoseok's gaze on me as I stared out the window, watching the buildings pass by.
"Hey," he whispered as he nudged me with his elbow. I felt his hand fold into mine, and he gave it a tight squeeze. "I've got you."
I couldn't help but grin at him. I gave his hand a small squeeze, and smiled at him. During our drive, he took his other hand and lightly traced the top of my hand with his index finger, trying to soothe me. And it was working.
Despite everything, I'm slightly okay with it happening. Maybe it just wasn't meant to be. I never dreamed of being an idol. And though it was short lived, it brought Hoseok and I closer together. And I trust him. Everything is going to be okay.
