I know I know, this would probably fit better for Creek or something, but I felt like writing about Cryle and it's just the first ship that came to mind after I saw the prompt, so don't complain you geese.

{Craig}

I checked the clock and inwardly sighed. 7:03, wonderful, only an hour left. Tweek was a great friend, and I couldn't thank him enough for the job, but these shifts were a pain in the ass.

"Order 16?" Tweek called out from where he was standing. I began to space out until the familiar 'ring' of the bell sounded. My dark eyes widened at the short fiery figure. His curly red hair was more tamed this morning, most of it still hidden underneath of his hat. He was just wearing his orange jacket unzipped, and I scoffed when I noticed he was wearing one of Stan's shirts.

"Hey Craig." He yawned, looking up at me from where I stood behind the counter.

"Morning Broflovski. The usual?" I stiffly replied. Kyle nodded so I wasted no time in getting it ready. It was like this every morning, had been since first year in the damn hellhole of a college.

I'd work my shift, Kyle would be up for his early 8am class, be here an hour before to sit down with coffee and his laptop, then we would both go our separate ways. We never really talked before that, though. Apart from a group project or class debate we never spoke to one another just for the sake of it.

I handed it to him and he gave me a timid smile. "Thanks Craig." He sipped down some of the coffee, and I remained stoic as his emerald eyes locked on mine, questioning, but slightly upset.

I went to say something, but he sat down in his normal spot, taking his laptop out. The coffee shop was pretty quiet, the only noise being Tweek's tics and the sound of Kyle sipping his coffee every few moments. There wasn't much to do, and in seconds I found myself staring at the ginger.

I sighed as I fought against the fact of my face growing pink as he looked at his screen intensely, like nothing else in the room was even there. "Uh ohhh~" Tweek hummed, sliding to be beside me.

Frowning, I glared at him, his smile smug as he twitched every few moments. "What the hell are you doing?" I growled.

"I know exactly what you're— ack!— t-thinking dude, it's pretty obvious with you staring at him like that." He informed me, bringing his own coffee to his mouth.

I rolled my eyes and shoved him lightly. "Shut up, Tweek. You don't know shit." The sad truth was, the blonde boy knew pretty much all my dirty secrets, could sniff out my insecurities and thoughts from a mile away. That's what I get for dating the bastard for almost a decade.

"You sure? You only ever —ngh— smiled like that for me and Stripe, and Kyle looks nothing like me or a guinea pig. Just saying."

I huffed, crossing my arms. "Whatever man."

It was only a few minutes later until he spoke up again. "Y'all should totally—agh — bone."

My face turned a bright red. "Bone?" I hissed loudly.

Kyle looked over at the two of us arguing, a smile on his face. "You two sure you're just friends?" He teased.

Tweek grinned. "Positive. Craig is 100% available."

The redhead blushed, looking away for a short moment. "Noted."

I swallowed, groaning. "Wow Tweek."

"What? I'm trying to — hh— help!"

Kyle suddenly got up and began gathering his things, and my throat felt dry as I realized I had wasted the entire hour by arguing with Tweek. "Well, see you two tomorrow." He said faintly.

Just as Kyle was about to leave, I reached forward and grabbed his hand. "Kyle. Wait."

The short boy turned to look at me, and his green eyes sparked. "Yes?"

"I was.. um.." I looked away and noticed Tweek give me a thumbs up, so I sighed. "I was wondering if you maybe wanted to hang out sometime, see a movie or stargaze or.. something." I rubbed my neck, feeling stupid.

I was about to apologize for asking something so idiotic until he gave me a huge smile and nodded, gripping my hand that I forgot was still holding his. "I'd love to, Craig. Is tonight good?"

I gave a smile back. "Yeah, it's good."

Kyle turned and opened the door, turning to look over his shoulder at me and smile one more time. "It's a date then."
