After 3 months

The City Hall had a very important ceremony today. The whole place was organized for a launch. It was the launch of Hamza's biography. Mirha had finally completed it. Various writers and bloggers were present for the event.

As soon as they entered, a poster was placed at the enterance. Which read the name of the book, the story of Hamza's life.

"Liquidated: A Story Of A Survivor"
By Mirha Sikander

Mirha's eyes were shining brighter and her smile grew deeper. She was really nervous about this book. Hamza, on the other side was remembering his friends more than usual today. If they were together today, he would not have been standing here, where the story of his life was being launched. His eyes pooled with tears yet again.

"Hey, its okay." Mirha intertwined her fingers with his.

Hamza smiled at her and squeezed her hand, as they walked forward.

"Miss Mirha? Miss Mirha?" A blonde girl, holding a pen and note pad rushed towards them. "I am Caroline Cooper from "Poise" magazine. We would like to know about your book. The central idea and all?" The blogger kept interviewing her for a while.

Hamza took a look around and a smile appeared on his face. The whole place was gleaming. His heart swelled with pride and joy because of Mirha.  She was truly a hardworking woman who had so many fans and people hoping for her new book to be yet another hit.

They were now present in the hall. The projector displaying the poster of the book. Mirha proceeded towards the stage in the audience's round of applause.

"I can not thank you all enough for gathering here tonight. It really means alot to me. This book that I have written is the story of someone who holds a really special place in my heart. It is based on the APS Terrorist Attack which happened in Peshawar. I am dedicating it to all the martyrs and survivors of the massacre. It really saddened me when I got to hear the survivor's story."

She continued. "Imagine losing all your friends and watching them get martyred infront of your own eyes. Imagine experiencing death so closely. Imagine a situation when you can do nothing for the people you love and just pretend to be dead. We have no idea how that feels. And that's exactly what I am trying to highlight through this book. Hamza, my partner, the love of my life, I want you to know that I am so proud of you and I am so so glad that you and I are together now." Mirha looked at him smiling, his eyes holding all the warmth and love and also filled with tears remembering all those painful moments that he experienced at such a young age.

The hall cheered with applause, and stood up in honour. The ceremony kept going on for a while. The bloggers and reviewers were amazed by the concept of the book and Mirha Sikander received all the best wishes. The response was overwhelming.

Hamza and Mirha were sitting together, her head on his shoulder and their fingers intertwined. They were in Hamza's terrace gazing at the stars. The quiet sky. In their world, everything was beautiful, there was no care in their lives. They had their whole life ahead of them and they were going to live it together.

"Today is the most happiest day of my life." He said softly. "I was finally able to convey my story to the whole world. And its all because of you, if I hadn't met you, all of this would not have been possible."

"All that I have done is to put your story into words, you are the one behind this Hamza. If my book is a hit, which it will be, you are gonna take the credit. I am so proud of you." She said.

"You are my destiny." He tucked her hair behind her ear and planted a kiss on her forehead.

As they talked and made the best of memories, the stars witnessed. The fate was on their side. They both smiled and felt the luckiest in the whole world. All they wanted was each other's togetherness.

THE END.
