"Are you related to Ed Sullivan?" Freddie asked.

"Where in the world did you come up with that question?" I replied, chuckling.

"Well, your last name is Sullivan!" Freddie exclaimed with a laugh.

"Oh, Mr. Mercury," I said, my voice filled to the brim with exaggeration. "What will I ever do with you?"

Freddie only flashed a grin in response.

After having a few cups of tea from my cupboard and cookies I had bought earlier in the week, we both laid down together on my bed once again, talking to both one another and the ceiling.

Surprisingly, I wasn't even hungry before Freddie had arrived earlier, I hadn't bothered to feed myself or even stuff my face out of emotional stress.

I just felt completely numb during those hours, but after spending much time with Freddie, I found myself begging for something to munch on.

Freddie had also said earlier in the night that he was feeling a bit 'peckish', that was a new term for me but apparently it meant that he wanted food too.

"Peckish?" I asked, still chewing on a piece of bread.

"It's British," Freddie explained. "It means hungry."

I nodded and smiled a toothy grin.

"You have a very pretty smile," Freddie said softly, after swallowing his food, he quickly held his mouth closed with two fingers to prevent gas from escaping. "Sorry, excuse me."

"You're excused, Freddie," I blushed. "Thank you."

• Now •

"Ah, yes," I began with a wide smile. "Uncle Ed would always be gone, doing worldwide, broadcasted shows for bands like the Beatles or the Jackson 5..." I lamented, still smiling and flinging the back of my hand to my forehead.

"Well, now you're just milking it, dear," Freddie said while rolling his eyes, his voice fell into a quiet chuckle while he slowly laid his body back down on my bed.

"I could only dream of being related to a man that famous!" I said smiling.

Freddie closed his eyes and let out a deep sigh.

Freddie now looked almost completely normal, it was a complete anomaly that I couldn't even begin to explain.

"Freddie?" I said, sitting up a bit.

"Hm?" He replied, his eyes staring into mine.

"How did you heal so fast? You looked so... dead only a few hours ago..." I asked, shivering slightly at the mention of his earlier condition.

Freddie sighed as his eyes went back up to the ceiling.

"Oh, well... I don't know actually..." Freddie said with a small grin. "Your positive energy I guess, you've seemed to heal me Lily and I- I can't explain why. I really mean that."

I nodded.

"Well," I said while laying back down at Freddie's side. "That makes two of us."

It was now silent, at least, for the moment, I knew one of us would start talking again.

We both couldn't stand long silences between us, so much unnecessary awkwardness would ensue and then there was no escaping from that.

I just, couldn't believe my current situation.

I was literally laying next to a human who acted like fucking royalty all the time and a Greek God, how many times have you been in that situation?!

"Those cookies were delicious!" I exclaimed, Freddie jumped at my sudden exclamation which only made me fall into a fit of giggles.

"Don't you mean biscuits?" Freddie asked, swiping his hair from his face.

"No, I'm pretty sure I mean cookies..." I said this slowly at first but soon realized that biscuits are the British term for cookies, this gave me the perfect opportunity to push his buttons.

"You British!" I yelled, flailing my hands around in the air. "Always with the pish posh and the spit spot, the Queen this and th—" I said all of this while doing a horrible imitation of a British accent.

I couldn't stop laughing at this point but my laughter was soon cut off by someone smashing their lips against mine.

Apparently, while I was on my endless spiel about the British, Freddie had decided that I needed a good, long kiss to shut my mouth.

He broke the kiss, leaving me breathless, he stared into my soul with those dark, dangerous eyes.

"Be careful with what you say, darling," Freddie warned. "I could let something vile slip from my lips about you Americans, besides, that is the Queen you're talking about..."

I nodded slowly, still trying to catch my breath.

Freddie still continued to stare and breathe on my neck but bowed his head into my chest while succumbing to a fit of laughter.

"Pish Posh?! Spit spot?! Is that really the best you could come up with?!" he yelled, still laughing.

I rolled my eyes and shared the laughter with him, we had been talking, smiling and giggling so much that our mouths and chest hurt, it was time to call it a night.

"I read your journal," I confessed.

Freddie's head whipped around from the window, his eyes grew big and wide.

"You WHAT?!" Freddie yelled, obviously panicked.

"Hey, calm down!" I yelled back, holding my hands up in defense.

Freddie still stared at me with widened eyes and pursed lips.

"Freddie, what did you expect me to do?" I asked slowly. "I literally took your journal."

Freddie exhaled through his nose.

It was a bad sign when Freddie didn't verbally respond to something.

He looked like he was on the verge of having a tantrum, like, he was about to launch something into the wall, he was eyeing a nearby glass vase which made me extra uncomfortable.

"Freddie, I'm sorry," I said quickly before he could move. "I invaded your privacy, I'm sorry."

Freddie shook his head and hands while sighing.

"It's fine," Freddie said. "You had every right... the incident at the record store was... uncalled for, I'm sorry."

A sigh of relief exited my lips but my back stiffened when he mentioned it.

I cringed and shuddered.

The record store incident.

Yeah, an incident I'll never forget.

Shaking my head, I tried to regain my train of thought.

"I love your songs..." I said, smiling.

Freddie didn't smile but did a curt nod in response.

"They're just drafts, scribbles, really, nothing much..." Freddie replied quietly.

I shook my head and smiled even bigger in an attempt to cheer him up.

"They're more than that Freddie!" I chirped. "They're art!"

That seemed to make him feel a little better.
