I had definitely made the wrong choice. I should've thought this through. June thinks it's her fault about Mom and John. I looked her in the eyes and I tried to smile. I could see that she was doing the same.
After a while, she gazed into my eyes and said,
"Yes, Day. Yes"
She smiled and I grinned. I held her tighter and we sat in silence, gazing upon Lake sector.
