I walk home that night slowly, with the cool night breeze blowing in my face. I smiled. I laid my hand on my door knob very gently and turned it. I saw Eden tinkering with some metal parts.
"Well hello there, Eden"
"Uh... H-hi"
I gave him a smirk and walked towards my room. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I fell into a deep sleep.
June was running, only ahead of her was a cliff.
"JUNE PLEASE STOP" I yelled with all my might.
"Its for your own good, it will be better this way" she seemed to repeat over and over in a terrifyingly ghostly calm voice.
"NOOO" I cried.
I ran after her and tried to grab the hem of her shirt before it was too late, but I was too late. I stood there at the edge as the world around me crumbled to nothing.
I woke with a bead of sweat traveling down my forehead. From out the window, I saw the sun rising. It was beautiful, but it still couldn't shake off my dream. It replayed over and over in my mind. I collapsed on my bed and stared at the ceiling.
