I watched June's eyes travel over to the spot where she had once was laying on the ground. That seemed like 100 years ago, but now, it felt like we were teenagers again. When I had called her 'the girl'. June started crying, but I could tell they were of joy. I wrapped my arm around her, trying to comfort her. It seemed like we were sitting there for hours.

Anyway, this was dinner, so I pulled some food out of the basket trying to keep the little box hidden from June. I had bought it before I had put the note on June's door. We ate in silence, but I could tell we were both thinking about the past.
