"Mother I'm telling you we can't trust him." I said as I followed behind my mother.
"(Y/n), Stephen Strange is suppose to be the best of us... I've seen it." She said softly.
"I don't trust him... he is only here to fix his problem... not to save the world... he will not be what you want."
"I know he will.... he has to be." She said as she walked away.
I let out a sigh as I turned and walked to the library. I let out a groan as I saw Strange reading a book.
"(Y/n), here to read?" Wong asked as I walked up to him.
"Always." I said as I passed by him.
"Why is she allowed in the restricted area?" Strange asked as I passed him.
"Because I am the Ancient One's daughter." I said as I walked through the door and shut it.
Time skip
"You have to save her!" I yelled as I was held back.
My mother had been injured during an attack and I was forced to take her to the hospital.
"They are going to do everything they can." Stephen said as he held me back.
"I can't lose her... she is all I have." I whispered as tears streamed down my face.
I was pulled into a hug and he held me tightly. It wasn't long before they came out and said she had passed. I cried into Stephen's chest and he held me tightly. I soon calmed down and he led me to a chair and left to get me a glass of water.
"I see why you said we didn't have a chance." A woman said softly.
I looked up to see Stephen talking to a woman.
"I don't know why, but since I met her... she has clawed her way into my heart... whether she knows it or not.... I love her even though I think she hates me." He said softly.
I let out a gasp and felt a tear stream down my face as my heart broke, I didn't know why it did, but it broke at hearing him confess his love for someone. I stood up and let out a sigh as I walked out of the hospital.
"(Y/n)!" A voice yelled.
I kept walking until my hand was grabbed and I was turned around to face him.
"Why did you leave?" He asked softly.
"I.... I heard what you said.... and she is a idiot if she doesn't love you back.... she is a lucky woman." I said as I held a sob in.
"I'm glad you think that.... because she is you." He said with a smile.
"What?" I asked shocked.
"You are the idiot I'm in love with." He said with a laugh.
He went to say something else but I cut him off by pressing my lips against his. He let out a groan and pulled me closer to him.
"I love you too." I whispered against his lips.
