Angst
I let out a sigh as I walked through my house and cleaned it up a little. It had been a year since Thanos came and whipped out half of the universe, and with that half was my husband Sam Wilson. I let out a sigh as I walked into my room and looked at the empty bed.
"Baby I'm home!" I yelled as I walked through the door.
"In our room!" He yelled from the bedroom.
I smiled as I walked into the room and saw him on the bed reading.
"How was work?" He asked with a smile.
"Good, how was running from the government?" I asked with a laugh.
"Horrible, all I wanted was to be with you." He said as I leaned down and pecked his lips.
"You are trying to get brownie points aren't you?" I asked with a smile.
"Who says I need them." He said as he pulled me on the bed and kissed me.
I shook my head as I laid down on the bed and looked at the ceiling.
"I miss you so much, Sam." I whispered as I held the picture.
I fell asleep and the next morning I woke up and saw I was alone in bed. I stood up and let out a sigh as I made it to the headquarters. I stopped at the door and let out a sigh as I remembered the first time I walked through those doors and met Sam.
"Come on it will be fun." Tony said as he dragged me with him.
"How will it be fun to meet your teammates?" I asked with a laugh.
"Because I can finally show the team my greatest friend." He said with a laugh.
He dragged me inside the headquarters and I smiled as I followed behind him. We made it inside and he introduced me to everyone.
"Guys meet (Y/n) (L/n), my oldest friend." Tony said with a smile.
"(Y/n)... that is a beautiful name." A man said as he sent me a smile.
"Hi." I said as he held his hand out.
"Sam Wilson." He said with a smile.
"Nice to meet you." I said as I shook his hand.
"Pleasures all mine." He said as he kissed my knuckles.
I walked through the door and let out a sigh as I sent Steve a small smile. He sent me a nod of his head and I walked through the headquarters and looked for Natasha.
"How are you?" She asked as I set beside her.
"I don't know." I said softly.
"I miss them too." She said softly.
"I walk through my house... and all I see is him. I close my eyes and I hear his voice.... I miss him so much Nat." I said through tears.
She pulled me into a hug and I felt the tears stream down my face as I hugged her tightly.
"(Y/n) (L/n) will you do me the honor and be my wife?" Sam asked as he got down on one knee.
I felt tears stream down my face as I shook my head Yes.
"Yes! Yes! A million times yes." I said as I got down and kissed him deeply.
He let out a chuckle as he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me against him.
"I love you and I promise I will never leave you." He whispered against my lips.
I made it to the monuments and I let out a sigh as I traced his name.
"I miss you so much." I whispered as I felt a tear stream down my face.
"Mommy!" A voice yelled.
I whipped the tear away and smiled as my five year old ran up to me.
"Hey kiddo, how was the trip to Uncle Tony's?" I asked with a smile.
"It was good, but I missed you." He said as he wrapped his arms around my neck.
"I missed you to, Let's go home." I said as I carried him to the car.
