Chapter 2- Finding Star and Marco

"Star is my daughter, so I'll go with you, my Moonpie," River said.

"I'm going too, Eclipsa." Globgor said. "I don't want to leave you and Meteora alone. And Star, is the one who helped us reunite with our family and with monsters and Mewmans living together in peace.

"I'm coming too, sure Star is my ex-girlfriend. But, she and I are still friends and I still care about her." Tom said.

"Star is my gurl! I would do anything for her to make sure she is safe." Ponyhead said. "You can trust us, Mrs. Butterfly."

"You're all going with me, to find Star?" Moon smiled. "That's so sweet of all of you."

"Be careful with Maríposa, honey." Angie said.

"I will." Rafael said.

"I don't know where we should even go? How do we know where Marco went? I'm starting to get worried about him, as I am his mother and him being my only son." Angie said, walking down the sidewalk.

"Hey, Angie!" Jackie waved to Angie. "Hi, Rafael."

"Hi, Jackie." Angie said, seeing her sitting on a bench with the French skateboarder-girl.

"Oh, hello Jackie." Rafael said.

"You know...I know where Marco went if you two want me to tell you." Jackie said. "It's really no trouble at all."

"Oh really?" Mr. Diaz said. "Where did Marco go?"

"You see, this is what happened earlier when he told me he wanted to borrow my skateboard." Jackie said, as she was remembering a flashback of when she saw Marco earlier.

"Woah...careful out there, Diaz." Said Jackie. "That earthquake caused some sort of weird gas leak?" She pointed to the portal in the sky.

"It's not a gas leak, it's a portal." Marco said. He looked at her skateboard and pointed at it. "Uh...I need your skateboard?"

"Oh, sure?" Jackie said. "What are you going to use it for?"

"I--I have to use it for an emergency. If I don't go toward that portal that leads to Mewni, I may never see Star again..since she destroyed all the magic." He said.

Jackie got up from the bench and looked at him as he still spoke. "This may be my last chance I ever get to see her and be with her before that portal closes forever. And I..."

Marco took the aqua-green skateboard. "just want to be with her more than anything in the world." Jackie took off her helmet. "I get it, it's because you're into her, dude."

"Yeah...I am." Marco grinned. "And she is into me too."

"Well..." Jackie smacked the helmet on top of Marco's head. "What are you waiting for? Star is a good girl and you want to be with her, right?" She said. "Then..go!"

"Thanks, Jackie." Marco said, and he skateboarded away.

"WOOOO!" Jackie shouted, putting her fist into the air. "Go get her, MARCOOO!" Marco smiled to himself, as he heard her positive words, which made him skateboard even faster.

"And that's what he said and where he headed off to." Jackie said, and pointed at the direction she saw Marco go at.

"Oh well, thanks Jackie!" Rafael said.

"No problem."

Mr. and Mrs. Diaz started running fast towards the right direction to where Jackie told them she saw Marco go at. "So...Marco went to go look for Star, to be with her?"

"Yes, dear." Mrs. Diaz's curly pigtails hanged back and forth to the sides as she ran.

"What could that mean?" Mr. Diaz said, being curious.

"Rafael-cito...I think it means that Marco loves Star. She must be the estrella to his ojos. She is the star to his eyes."

"Awww...That's so sweet. My little boy is in looove~♡!" Rafael said, getting teary-eyed, upon thinking of the thought of Marco being in a relationship with Star.

"Well, I'm not sure if that's the case. That's what I think. But I'm not sure, since they are best friends." Angie said. "Until we see them, we'll see if that's true."
