Chapter 21: I Could Use A Distraction

--Corbyn's POV--

I lay down with Jack on the floor and look at the planets with him and I hear him start to snore very faintly and I continue looking at the ceiling for longer. The next thing that I know is I hear my phone is going off. I wake up groggily and grab my phone from my pocket and look to see that my alarm was going off. I turn it off and close my eyes again and then reality had hit me and I open my eyes again and look around to see that me and Jack were still in the observatory. I also see that Jack is still asleep. I run over to him and start trying to shake him awake, he pushes me away.

"Jack you need to get the fuck up we have rehearsal today and we have to be across town in 10 minutes."  I yelled to him

Jack still doesn't get up so I order an Uber to pick us up at the observatory and then continue shaking Jack awake but 5 minutes later the Uber is outside and Jack still doesn't get up and instead I lift him up and over my shoulders and run outside with him and sit him down in the Uber and I tell the Uber to start driving. I texted Jonah that we were going to be late and that he needs to start rehearsal without us and we'll be there as soon as we can. Jack starts tossing and turning but refuses to actually opens his eyes.

"Jack you need to wake up." I tell him and continue trying to get him up, he smacks my hands away and that's when I knew something was wrong

"Jack what's going on? Are you okay?" I asked him

"Nothing Corbyn I'm fine I just haven't slept good in a long time and I think last night was the best sleep that I have gotten even though it was a hard floor and I just don't want it to end." Jack said to me actually sitting up in the back seat and opening his eyes.

"It's gonna be okay Jack and who knows maybe eventually when you get better you and Sabrina can start talking to you again if things with her and Zach don't work out." I said to make Jack feel a little better.

"Thanks Corbyn, everything you did for me is really helpful, you've been a great friend and I know i'm not easiest to work with but thank you for not giving up on me."Jack told me

"Jack I know i'm hard on you but it's because I care about you a fuck ton and I just can't see you give up that easily on something or someone you say you really care about." I told him

"Thanks Corbyn." Jack said and leaned over to give me a bro hug.

--Sabrina's POV--

Me and Courtney are sitting at the boys rehearsal space waiting for Corbyn and Jack to show up because they are now over an hour late for rehearsal and Jonah isn't very happy right now with me because I took forever getting out of bed and then spent nearly 30 minutes getting ready (shower included). Although he should be mad at Zach for taking nearly 30 minutes just to style his hair and then 20 minutes to pick an outfit and get dressed.

We waited another 20 minutes and Jack and Corbyn finally showed up. I roll my eyes and grab Courtney's hand and we walk out to the hall and grab some snacks for the vending machines. We then go back into the rehearsal space and I give Courtney the IPad that Jonah got her to keep her distracted while we are here. I pop my headphones in and just sit down.

For the next 3 hours they guys rehearsed before they got a break so they can go to lunch so we all head out for next hour and a half to grab lunch at Chipotle. I grab a bowl and Courtney got a quesadilla. I honestly wasn't exactly happy to get out of the house today but Jonah didn't want to leave us in the house alone so we had to come.

"Hey Sabrina are you okay?" Zach had asked me quietly

"Yeah I'm fine, I would just rather be at home right now or just out skating but I can't because I left my board in Minnesota with Jonah's family." I told him
