          It was about 10:30 AM. Lana was still in the living room, on the couch, watching Steven Universe. Almost all of her pain had went away. She still had a bit of a stomach ache. But she was also very hungry, since she hadn't eaten her Poptarts. She thought since she felt fine now, she'd probably go to the gas station to pick up a few snacks. She waited a few minutes before she paused the current episode of Steven Universe that was playing and went upstairs to grab her car keys. She walked back downstairs, out the front door, and towards her car that was parked in the driveway. She got in and started the engine. She rolled out of the driveway and made her way down the street to the gas station.

          She parked at one of the parking spaces in front of the building. She got out of the car and walked in. When she walked into the store, she heard the bell attached above the door make a ding sound. She walked through the aisle full of chips. She grabbed the bag of Spicy Nacho Doritos that she thought was the fullest and walked over to the refrigerators full of canned and bottled drinks. Right as she opened the door to the refrigerator, she heard the bell to the front door ding again, but she didn't pay it any mind. She bent down to grab an Orange Crush and closed the refrigerator door. She walked over to the candy aisle. She looked at the different packs of Skittles there was. She picked up a Share Size of the Wild Berry Skittles. She walked over to the counter where the register was. She put all of the items on the counter. The man working behind the counter looked up. He put the costs of all of the items into the register. "$7.78," the man said. Lana pulled out her wallet. She opened it and took out a $10 bill. She gave the man the money and waited for him to put her snacks into a bag and give her the change. After getting the change out of the register and putting her items into a bag plastic bag, the man handed her both the bag and the money. "Thank you," Lana said, turning around, walking toward the door. While she was walking toward the door, she was still putting her money in her wallet, not paying attention to what was in front of her. All of a sudden, she bumped into the only other person that was in the store, knocking her glasses off. This felt all too familiar to Lana. "Sorry," Lana said, getting on the ground to find her glasses. "Nah. I'm sorry. It was my fault," said the deep, yet strangely familiar voice. Finally, after feeling what felt like her glasses on the ground, she picked them up and put them on to see who she had bumped into. After her glasses were secured on her face, she looked up to see where that familiar voice had come from. But when she saw who it was, her heart started racing and her eyes got very wide. She got nervous and started feeling sick to her stomach again. It was Jarvis.

          "Are you alright," Jarvis asked, holding his hand out to help Lana off of the ground. "Uh, y-yeah I'm alright," Lana said, helping herself up. "You sure you good Lana?" Lana was stunned, staring at him after he said her name. She had never heard him say her actual name. She was always some kind of "bitch" to him. Never "Lana". After a few seconds, she had got enough courage to speak up. "Yeah, I'm fine," Lana said with a little bit more confidence. They looked at each other for a second. "You do remember me, don't you," Jarvis asked. "How can I forget," Lana said with a bit of shade. "Uh, can we talk outside real quick," Jarvis asked. "What could we possibly have to talk about," Lana said with a little hostility. There were a few seconds of silence. "I just wanted to apologize for all the shit I put you through in high school. I know that it was wrong. I'm sorry," Jarvis said softly. Lana rolled her eyes. "That doesn't make up for four years of humiliation." "A-and I know that. I wish I could make it up to you. H-how 'bout I take you out to dinner or something. Show you I'm a good guy to be around." "Why would I ever consider going anywhere with a person like you," Lana said, now fully agitated. She walked out of the store and into her parked car. She sat there for a few seconds. She started thinking about what Jarvis had said. "Why would he even ask me a stupid question like that? 'Can I take you to dinner'," she said to herself. She started thinking. She started thinking about him. His light complexion and how the bright light in the gas station made his skin glow. His strong facial features. His few hairs that formed a small mustache and a small beard that was underneath his chin. His toned arms being held together by his black shortsleeved T-shirt. His black hair that formed into waves on top of his head. After a few seconds, Lana quickly snapped herself out of the thought. "Woah, Lana no. You do not like this kid," she said to herself. Just as she said that, she saw the door to the gas station swing open and Jarvis walk out with a black bag. He saw her looking from her car window. He gave her an awkward smile and wave. She looked away. She started rolling out of the parking space that she was in and pulled out of the parking lot of the gas station.

          Finally, she was back home. The Steven Universe episode was still paused. She sat on the couch and played the episode. She rustled through her bag of snacks and pulled out the bag of Doritos. She opened the bag and started eating. She was comfortable. Now that she was back at home, she felt better. She was watching the TV very attentively. 10 minutes later she heard a bird's whistle come from her phone. It was a Twitter notification. She rolled her eyes before pulling her phone out of her pocket to read the notification. She almost choked on her Dorito when she read it.

@ThatBoiJarvis is now following you!

          She couldn't believe it. This boy was trying to snake his way into her life. But it was working. Something possessed Lana to unlock her phone, opened her Twitter app, look at her notifications, and follow him back. She internally cursed herself for doing this. A few seconds later, she saw that she had gotten a Twitter DM. She had never gotten DM'd by anybody, so it was a bit of a surprise to her. She opened it. It was Jarvis.

"Why'd u follow me back if u don't want nothing to do with me 😏 ???"

          Lana rolled her eyes. "Don't get cute," she responded. After sending her response, she locked her phone, put it back in her pocket, and continued watching TV. A few seconds later, she had gotten another notification.

"Oh so u think I'm cute 😏 ???"

          Lana looked at her phone in disgust. Lana was so disgusted that she did even respond back. She just angrily put her phone back in her pocket and went back to eating her chips. But she couldn't help but think. She thought so long that by the time she had shaken herself out of her thoughts, the episode that she was watching was over. She had finally concluded her thoughts with one question.

Why would I have a crush on my worst enemy?
