A Quest Of A Lifetime

Chapter 9

3rd POV-

After another 2 days the gang stopped in their tracks when they heard something in the bushes, they looked at each other and nodded. Fang stepped forward sword ready, the bush rustled again; only to see a little white creature about 5 inches tall with little horns on his head, his tongue was sticking out making him even cuter. Ying squealed "It's so cute." she ran to pick the little critter up "Ying be careful, it might bite your hand off." Gopal warned "No they wont." she defended cuddling the little thing.

Another group of the white puffballs emerged and surrounded Blaze and Cyclone "they're so cute." the both squealed picking them up "what are they anyway?" Blaze asked "They're called Poro's and they mostly live in cold atmospheres." Ying answered, Ice who was sitting down crossed leg was tackled by another batch of poros making everyone laugh "They really like you, Ice." Earthquake commented petting a poro who purred cutely, a few minutes later consisting of petting poros.

"Come on." Thunderstorm groaned "Can we keep one?!" Blaze pleaded to Earthquake and was giving him the cutest puppy eyes "You can't take a creature away from their home Blaze." Thunderstorm grumbled "now put the poro down and let's go." Blaze pouted but let go "Goodbye little fella." he said waving goodbye.

Finally after many days of walking they finally arrive, to the place known as the shadow kingdom. Everything was destroyed and all that remains of the forgotten kingdom was rubbles of debris "the war must have been intense." Thunderstorm mumbled "shhh...be quiet." Ice whispered, everyone turned to him "Did you say something?!" Quake ask and Ice shook his head no but you could clearly see him sweating, Thunderstorm crossed his arms and raised his eye brow at ice "Ice the truth." He demanded making Ice flinch from his tone "well you see—" he explained while 2 little creatures appeared on his shoulder and one on top of his head. "Didn't I tell you all to leave them?!?" Quake exclaimed "Hey, it wasn't my fault; they followed me!" Ice defended

"Why can Ice keep Poros while I can't?!" Blaze whined "because he can't, Ice after this you're going to bring those poros back to their home." Quake stated "But_" Ice interjected "No buts now come on before the sun sets." Quake continued while walking up to the palace "Guys this place gives me the creeps." Ying shivered "what do you expect?, this place has been abandoned for years." Fang stated

-Earthquakes POV-

"Do you guys feel like there's someone watching us?!?" i asked and they nodded "We should hurry." Thunderstorm stated, heading up to the flight of stairs "Why did it have to be stairs?!" Blaze whined, "Ok I have enough." Cyclone groaned as he summoned his hoverboard "See you guys at the top." he happily chirped as he flew up. "Traitor." Blaze shouted as bailed his fist at him.

As we arrived at the top, Blaze collapsed to the ground while panting for breathe, Cyclone crouched down beside him "Blaze, you dead?!" Cyclone teased while poking his cheek "I'm going to kill you." Blaze threatened still catching his breathe, Cyclone smile at the threat "If you could catch me." he taunted making Blaze rise up and chase him, I sighed and turned to Thunderstorm "You get Cyclone while I get Blaze." he nodded grabbing Cyclone by his hood while I grabbed Blaze wrist "Come on you two, you can continue your little fight later." I stated as I dragged Blaze to a hallway, the others behind us. "Blaze light please." he frowned but obliged, his hand burst into flames. 

I let go of his wrist and he leaded the way for us "guys if we don't make it back, I would like to say I'm glad to have been in this quest with all of you." Cyclone blurted out while Thunderstorm smack his head "Don't be a pessimist, its very unlike you." Cyclone smiled "Sorry.:" he apologize as we entered the throne room , in the middle of the room stood the mysterious guy from before with Yaya gagged and tied up by his side.
