-3rd POV-

Kaizo dodged another punch from Earhtquakes earth golem and cut it into pieces, when he saw Thunderstorm coming their way he smirked "Well looks like you managed to kill my dragon." he remarked as he surveyed the recent battlefield "but lost 2 of your sibling's precious life." Earthquakes eyes widen, he looked behind Thunderstorm and Blaze and there they was on the ground covered by their own blood; dead. Cyclones voice echoed through his head 'guys if we don't make it back, I would like to say I'm glad to have been in this quest with all of you.' The guilt was eating him alive, he glared at Kaizo who looked amused "You're going to pay." Earthquake threatened making Kaizo laugh "I would like to see you try." he taunted, the 4 of them encircled Kaizo and took their stance. Thunderstorm strike first ""Lightning Slash." Kaizo evaded the attack with his sword "Meteor smash." Blaze threw a meteor on his way when Kaizo saw this he kicked Thunderstorm on his stomach and flew to where Blaze was knocking into each other. "Earth golem." Earthquake called forth his familiar, making a barrier between his siblings and Kaizo who in return only chuckled at the act. "Shadow punch."

Shadows all around gathered making a fist in the air, punching the golem into pieces "What a pathetic move." Kaizo mocked turning to Earthquakes and Yings direction "as you can see it did nothing." "That's where you're wrong." A voice declared behind him "Lightning slash." Thunderstorm appeared behind him "Fire punch." with Blaze at his side, Kaizo on the other hand turned just in time to block the 2 attacks with his sword not backing down from the force "is that all you got!" he roared pushing back making Thunderstorm and Blaze falter. "That's were your wrong." Earthquake opposed "Earth Barrier." Thunderstorm and Blaze jumped out of the way, just in time as a rock barrier emerged from the ground separating them both from Kaizo "Do it Ying." "Keep them at bay, wall of tempest, and grant peace to those below." as Ying chanted a gust of wind appeared and surrounded Kaizo trapping him in a cage, "An altered spell? " Kaizo asked "What a pitiful spell but shadow—" "Too slow, pay heed o great wind." Ying summoned another gust of wind striking it in Kaizo's direction, who didn't have enough time to dodge caught the impact of the attack, his back hit the barrier with too much force making him choke out blood, his unconscious body fell to the floor with a loud thud.

"Did we win?" Blaze panted while regaining his posture "I think so." Earthquake stammered while eyeing Ying, who in return gave him a small smile "Ok then Yay..." Blaze cheered in a monotone voice "We're alive, lets grab everyone and leave. "Blaze's right; Quake grab Yaya, Ying untie Fang while I." Thunderstorm paused, grimacing at his next words "While me and Blaze bring Ice and Cyclone home." there was sadness in his tone making Earthquake more guilty than he already is, he clenched his hands while ignoring the tears that fell from his eyes "Guys I "he cried "I'm sorry, if I didn't-" Thunderstorm walked to him and patted him in the shoulder "It wasn't your fault." Thunderstorm assured him "But I." Quake started but was cut off "I know how you feel but this isn't the place to cry about it, wipe those tears away and help me bring them home, we'll give them proper burials and a little ceremony of our own, after that and only that we can cry as long as we want." Earthquake sniffed while wiping his tears away and gave Thunderstorm a reassuring smile "Good, now it's time for you to save your princess." Thunderstorm stated giving him a pat on the shoulder before walking to where Cyclone was, Earthquake turned to the direction where Yaya's unconscious figure lay, he smiled while making his way to her.

Ying went to Fang who was still thrashing in his restrains, when he saw Ying his eyes widen "Ying get back, it's not over yet." he demanded making Ying confused "what are you talking about?!?" She questioned "we already defeated your bother, see." She pointed while turning to the direction where Kaizo was, her eyes widen for Kaizo was no longer there. "Guys be careful, Kaizo's gone." Ying yelled gripping her scepter tight. "Pathetic morons did you really think, you could defeat me that easily?!?" a booming voice echoed in the background as shadows appeared and encircled our heroes, Thunderstorm and Blaze summoned their weapons "Show yourself, you coward!" Blaze barked clearly challenging Kaizo; who was the lord of shadows "I'll start with you then."

Earthquakes eyes widen as Kaizo appeared behind Blaze his sword drawn, the world around him suddenly slowed down as Kaizo raised his sword, he tried to move his body but it felt heavy like it was stuck in the time field, when he saw Kaizos sword only inches away from Blaze; he could only scream. Blazes eyes widen as Kaizo appeared behind him, he tried moving is body but it was frozen in the spot as kaizos sword came down. He could only close his eyes, waiting for the pain to come, he'll probably meet Ice and Cyclone soon. He winced at the thought but the pain didn't came because standing in front of him was Thunderstorm.

Thunderstorm stood his ground with his lighting sword against Kaizo who growled and pushed his assault more making Thunderstorm retaliate with his sword. "Give it up, you pest." Kaizo snarled "Shadow slash." Shadows enveloped his sword, the intensity of the attack managed to crack thunderstorm's sword a little causing him to step back, balancing himself from falling; he lasted only a few minutes until his sword broke
