Blackpink arrived at YG building. They had a meeting for their upcoming comeback and their ASIA concert. Girls are excited about their new gig but at the same tine upset since the date of the comeback has been pushed back. After their meeting they had a 30 minutes break. Jennie was summoned by her manager. She was shocked to see Hanbin in the same room. She bowed in respect to the people inside the room.
She's sitting in between her manager and Hanbin. The manager moves his seat and now facing Jennie and Hanbin.
Tension fills the air. Jennie seems to know what this is all about. After few minutes, two other people went inside the room. Hanbin's manager sit in front of Hanbin. He is looking at Jennie whose obviously nervous.
"Leave the room now. We'll be starting our meeting." Hanbin's manager said.
The staff and assistant bow and leave the room quickly. Jennie starts to play with her thumb. She knows what's about to come. She's ready mentally but not sure emotionally. She gulps due to her nervousness and look straight to the people she's about to talk to.
"Let's get started." Jennie's manager said. They all bow to each other.
"Jennie, BI, I'm pretty sure you know the reason why you're summoned. This is regarding the incident that happened last night."
"Yes." Jennie and Hanbin said in unison.
"We had a meeting with some of the public relations team earlier. We also checked the CCTV around the building and the park. It's a good thing that there's no other people around at that time. No people from the media lurking either. The CCTV footage has already been deleted. Now here's the problem." Jennie's manager said.
Jennie tries to look tough and emotionless. Hanbin is trying to absorb of what is happening and what is about to come.
" The saesang, he or she might've a picture or video footage of Jennie and BI. We traced the saesang. As of right now the information that we have is that the saesang rented the taxi to follow Jennie the whole day." Jennie's manager continue.
Jennie's eyes widened. She can't believed that there are people who will do that craziness to that extent.
"We're still trying to get more information about this saesang since it looks like it's a different saesang this time." Jennie's manager said while eyeing Jennie's reaction. He knows Jennie is agitated to hear this. This is not the first case where a saesang invades Jennie's privacy. He tries to relay the information slowly so Jennie can absorb it easily.
"As for the death threat incident we were able to track down the number. We have an information about her." He place a folder in front of Jennie.
"It's up to you if you want to read it. She's a minor. We can't do something about her behavior but give her a warning and reprimand her." Jennie touch the folder hesitantly. She open the folder. She's now looking at a girl who looks innocent and young. She's only 17 years old and she lives in Busan. Jennie doesn't know what to feel. This girl wants to kills her just because she's dating Kai. This innocent girl was able to acquire Jennie's private number. This innocent girl was able to acquire information about her and Kai. She closes the folder and sigh.
Hanbin is looking at Jennie. He is worried about her. He's thinking of ways to protect Jennie without her knowledge. But knowing Jennie, she doesn't like it when someone worries about her. He knows she doesn't like to be protected, she's the one who wants to protect others. That's why it's a mystery for him unto why she's dating right now. She must've like Kai so much that's she's willing to take a risk. He thought. Unknowingly, he closed his fist. He despise thinking like that.
They discuss more matters that can affect Jennie and the company. They already made a move to cover up and protect the company's liabilities.
"As for you Hanbin, what you did last night was risky and irresponsible. What if there's a media lurking around. They will fabricate story that will haunt you for life. Please be more careful." Hanbin's manager said.
"I'm reflecting on it. I'm sorry for disappointing you." Hanbin said. What he did was irresponsible but he didn't regret saving Jennie.
"I'm really sorry. It was my fault. I asked him to save me." Jennie said to Hanbin's manager.
"Jennie-ssi, our company is not prohibiting you to date. But please be more careful and be responsible enough to take precautions on your action."
Jennie can't meet the eyes of Hanbin's manager. She feels guilty and remorse. It's her fault that Hanbin the perfectionist, the protector of iKON, is being scolded because of her.
"I will. I'm really sorry. I'll be more careful this time. I promise to not involve Hanbin in my own mess" teary-eyed Jennie said.
"We know how careful you are Jennie. But this time this saesang went too far. Avoid seeing each other as for now. Jennie's manager said.
"Now for the main concern." Jennie and Hanbin is confused. They thought that's the end of it. They're curious to hear what is "main concern" about.
"Like I said earlier, we don't know if the saesang has a picture or video of you and BI together. If ever the picture will leak and news will arise,we will release a statement that you two are currently dating."
