Tomorrow is the big day.Nixon was finally going to meet my dad for the first time. With the way he's been acting it seems like I'm way more nervous about it than he is. I'm not sure whether to happy about that or frightened.
Trying not to think about it too much I was currently trying to focus in school.
It was finally Friday and I was sat in my last class of the day which was English with Ms Fairbrook. Looking around, nobody apart from myself and a boy sat in the front row were actually paying attention. I mean I get it. It's Friday and it's the last class. Everybody just wanted to leave to get their weekend started. Myself included, but actually listening and making notes served as a good distraction from my thoughts.
And all I could think about was tomorrow.
The bell finally rang and everyone emerged from their seats quicker then Usain Bolt. As I packed my things into my bag my best friends approached me.
"Come on slow coach. You don't wanna keep lover boy waiting. Especially when you look so hot today," Kay smirked at me and I blushed like a tomato.
We made our way out of the classroom making small talk along the way. Nixon told me he'd be waiting for me at the park ten minutes away from school so that's where I was meeting him. Friday for us meant date night, so I always ensured to make that little bit more effort into my appearance.
"Okay Mara you better tell us everything about tomorrow! Okay?" Izzy looked at me with glee.
"Of course I will. Ugh I'm so nervous," I was already getting butterflies as tomorrow was approaching.
"Nixon seems cool as a cucumber so you should be too. Look how well it went with your dad when you told him last week. You didn't expect that right? So be optimistic about it. He's a great guy, your dad will love him,"
I hugged Izzy thanking her for the reassurance and not long after Kay joined in too making it a group hug.
"What Izzy said," Kay spoke up making me laugh.
"Thanks guys. Don't know what I'd do without you,"
"Nothing," They both spoke in unison making us all laugh.
"Okay Iz let the poor girl go now, she has a smoking hot date,"
Saying our goodbyes I made my way to the park feeling giddy. This was always the best part of the day, getting to see my most favourite person in the world. It was crazy how much I missed him but we decided to stay apart during school.
I was wearing my favourite pair of blue skinny jeans that had small rips at the knees, paired with my white blouse that had a bow collar. I was going for cute and sophisticated yet sexy.
I know Nixon loves these jeans too he always says they make my legs and butt look 'hot'. My chestnut brown hair was in its usual waves but I did a half up half down look. With my makeup natural with browny tones I was excited for Nixon to see me.
I finally reached the park and spotted the beautiful Porsche that became oh so familiar. Nixon must have seen me through the mirror as his door opened and I was met with all his hotness. He looked at me all over with awe making his way towards me for a hug.
"Wow nugget, you look gorgeous,"
Smiling up at him, I planted a firm kiss on his lips and then on his cheek.
"Back at you handsome," Nixon was in all black. His fitted jeans with a t shirt and leather jacket made me feel all types of ways. "I missed you today," I said.
