we had told our friends two weeks ago. Mor and Elain had insisted that we go shopping for baby clothes and cute other things even though, I was only four months and hardly even had a bump. "Look at this! ah, it's so cute!" it was a onesie with a little chubby dinosaur on it. it was pretty adorable I had to admit.
"This would be really cute for a boy!" Mor proclaimed
"Aiden would be so happy to have a little boy cousin to play with, but I'm sure Erika would like a girl too." those were Elain and Azriel's to kids. they were the only couple to have kids at the moment, but Nesta was almost due with hers.
Nesta was supposed to be here as well but she had been feeling horrible all day so I told her we would have to do our shopping together another time. she and Cassian had been together for seven years.
"Rhys is pretty positive its a girl, but I'm hoping for a boy."
"Well I hope its a girl," mor Exclaimed, "I can buy her cute little dresses!"
We shopped around for a few more hours, finding outfits to suit either gender. and then I felt a tug on the bond,
when shall my Feyre darling return home?
Rhys had been very overprotective recently, he insisted on doing everything for me.
I'll be home soon, we're just finishing up.
we bought a few more items and the strolled back for the townhouse. where Rhys was waiting at the front door. Elain and Mor looked at each other, smiled and walked inside.
"I've been waiting you know? making me stand in the cold is torture!"
"oh? you know there's a nice warm fire inside?" he strolled closer to me and caressed my cheek. looking longingly into my eyes. I felt a smile tug on my lips. he gave me a quick peck on the cheek. and started to walk, ushering me to follow. "Come on were going on an adventure." he stopped and held out his hand to me. I grabbed his hand and followed.
