He just stood there with a devilish grin on his face. the one man I could go the rest of my existence without seeing. How did he even get past the borders? He looked so different. not in appearance but -
Feyre winnow home. now. Rhys said through the bond.
Tamlin veered closer, and Rhysand let out a warning growl. Tamlin walked towards me faster, and rhysand reached for me. there was a barrier between us, and I felt my magic bend and disappear. How was this possible? Tamlin was in front of me in an instant.
"I see you two have been busy." Rhysand was now banging on the barrier. I was frozen. literally frozen, it was like my feet were plastered to the floor. there was no escaping whatever Tamlin was about to do.
"What do you want?" was all I could manage to say. Rhysand was still banging on the barrier. Tamlin caressed my arm. he had something in his other hand. "Tamlin! Don't you touch her! " Tamlin reached down and touched my stomach.
"This could have been our child feyre. We could have been happy together." His words made me feel sick.
"This could have never been us Tamlin. I wished Tamlin well. what else could you possibly want?" He stepped closer. something again shining in his hand. I tried to reach for a sliver of magic, to move maybe just an inch. it was useless. Rhysand was now saying something that I couldn't make out. My thoughts were racing.
"I'm sorry, Feyre." then there was a searing pain through my chest. I fell to the ground, and Tamlin vanished. And then everything went black.
