A Ruined Picnic

Its been a month since meeting Henry Allen and a week since Skills was over for Barry and Kara since they got silver and couldn't advance to Nationals but at least they were happy since they now have more time to practice for the play in about a month. Today the two decided for a picnic to learn more about each family as Barry was bringing along his adopted family and the same for Kara with her adopted family as well.

"Hey Kara let me help you with that canoe." Barry said as he sets the box of Grilling Tools to help out Kara as she was 'struggling' to hold it steady. "Thanks Barr I needed that since Alex was already at the picnic tables setting up the hammocks and is setting up the music." She responds when Barry got underneath the canoe to keep it steady as she moves foreward to help balance the weight. They slowly walked towards the picnic tables by the dock when they bumped into an 'old friend' causing them to collapse to the ground. "Well if it isn't Barry Allen and his crybaby girlfriend Karla." He said as he slaps Kara's face causing Barry to get mad. "Stop that Thawne! Kara had nothing to do with anything you might accuse us for." Barry explains before starting a brawl with Eddie. "Yes you do because my career in Football stopped since the day you broke up with Iris!'

Just yards away Leonard Snart was just passing by his best friend Mick Rory as they were selling ice cream when they noticed that Barry was struggling to keep Eddie from hitting Kara. "Come on Mick we owe something to Barry so lets repay him by lending a helping hand." Snart said to Mick as they locked the bikes and Merch. before heading of to Barry's aid. Barry noticed the two and thought. "I hoped that what they said about a payback is true." Once the air got knocked out of Barry, both Leonard and Mick charged at Eddie and pinning to the ground as Kara dragged Barry away leaving the canoe behind to which Joe West noticed as he ran up to the two. "Okay Kara what happened?" He asked worried about them to which she responds by pointing at the ongoing fight. Joe pushes the two who were pinning Eddie to the ground and immediately grabs a tazer from his belt before pointing it at the face. "You better leave my son and his girlfriend alone or I'll jolt your brain next time so that you could remember what happened today!" He said fiercely as Eddie nervously said yes before running of.

Barry, Kara, Leonard and Mick finished talking to Joe after what happened since Joe got a call from the captain for 'police brutality' and if he was to stay in the force he should get some witnesses and record their POVs of the altercation between him and the civilian. "Well looks like I'm gonna have to miss out on the picnic but we should have another one in the near future but for now Barry, Wally please behave." Joe sighed as he left his kids in Elizah's care.
