{Zayn's POV}
"Dadda!" Ellie squeals from in the lounge. I look up from washing up and she's standing up in the lounge room. SHE'S STANDING BY HERSELF!
I watch her take a step. HOLY FLYING DOG SHE'S GOING TO WALK! I whip my phone out of my pocket and go to camera, hitting record.
"Perrie!" I yell running towards Ellie but not so I startle her. "PERRIE! QUICK!" I yell. I hear footsteps and Perrie comes flying down the stairs scooting to a halt next to me.
"What?" She asks. I point at Ellie and Perrie eyes grow wide. I hand Perrie the phone and rush around near Ellie, sitting three metres away from her.
"Come to Dadda." I call the baby over. Ellie is laughing hysterically and takes a small step towards me, her arms out wide so she can balance. "Come on Baba, come to Dadda." I call her over.
And just like that, Ellie walks- well waddle runs- towards me at quite a fast pace. I cheer and she falls into my lap laughing. Perrie turns off the video and runs over sitting in front of me.
"Mumma!" Ellie gurgles and changes laps. I watch Perrie pull our little girl into a giant hug. Last day of July 2019. Have to go and put that into the book where Perrie and I write everything about Ellie and all the stuff she does.
"Well done gorgeous!" Perrie kisses Ellie's forehead and Ellie giggles before climbing out Perrie's lap and running off somewhere. All these milestones make being a father the greatest gift on Earth.
I turn and look at Perrie who is smiling at me. "She's growing up aready." Perrie says. I shake my head, not wanting to think about her growing up so fast. "Let's get ready for dinner at Louis'." Perrie helps me to my feet.
I look out the sliding door and see the pool without a fence. Now it's Summer Ellie's going to want to play outside so I need to put up a fence. Tomorrow Louis and Niall are helping me put up that bloody fence considering they broke it over a year ago.
"Dadda!" Ellie's voice yells. I walk into the entry way where she is sitting on her bum. I pick her up and Perrie walks in, handing me Ellie's shoes and coat. I slide them on and then we head out to the car, driving to Louis and Eleanor's place.
We head in through the door and everyone else has already arrived. Louis and Eleanor invited Liam, Niall, Ella, Asha, Danielle, Zuri, Leigh- Anne, Jesy, Jordan, Harry, Jade and us over for chicken and salad- that's probably our second favourite group food, after pasta of course!
"Ash! Ash! Zizi! Zizi!" Ellie squeals and points at Asha playing with building blocks in the living room. Everyone looks over and realise we're here. Ellie can now say Mumma, Dadda, duck, quack, Ash for Asha, Zizi for Zuri, hank for thank you, yes and no obviously mean yes and no and mook for milk or food for that matter. Zuri and Ellie are actually really good friends. They've been seeing each other a lot lately.
Ellie squirms to be put down so I lower her onto her feet. I place her down and hold onto her little hands so she's standing up. Ellie pulls her hands away and waddle runs towards Zuri and Asha. When she gets to them she falls onto her hands and knees and crawls the rest of the way.
"SHE WALKED!" Niall yells, sprining up from his seat. Perrie and I nod, smiling proudly for our daughter. The others cheer and Harry mentions that now we're going to have to chase after her EVERYWHERE.
We all enjoy dinner together and then head off to our seperate homes.
