TEDIMAYE - Song THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES

I have a brother. I just seen my mother for the first time in years. Why was she there? Has she always lived close? What in the world. Just as we walk out of the door there are reports like crazy. "What happened in there? Is your father free? Who is the young boy with you?" Several reports ask.

"Come on." I say to Roby. I cant deny the resemblance between us. I get into a car with Roby and Wedgie right behind me. "My house pronto." I say. Just then my manager gets into the car to. "What in the world happened in there? The press are blowing this all out of proportion." He said.

"Roby this is my manager Gewn Hacklum." I say. "Who is this boy and why should I care?" Gewn asked me. "He looks like back street trash. Where did you pick him up from? This is not responsible! You left the press without even a word with back street trash!" Gewn yells. I look up at the roof.

"Like seriously what is it about him that matters so..." "Hes my brother!" I snap interupting him. "Brother?" Gewn says shocked. "Yes, my mother showed up okay." I say fed up. "Mrs.Maypeleane we have arrived." The driver says. I nudge Roby to get out and Wedgie follows us.

I unlock the gate and walk in to the loby then take the elevator up to our apartment. I look to my side and notice Robys eyes go huge at the sight of the place. We get out of the elevator and I unlock the door for the apartment.

We walk in and I set my stuff down and head to the living room to sit. "Come sit." I say to Roby. "This place is nice." Roby says sitting down. "Roby, I have questions and I know you do to. So please ask away." I say. "What happened with your dad?" Roby asked.

"He was very abusive after our mother left me and it went from there and got worse till I was put into the hospital a while later." I say. Wedgie sits down right besides me and hold my hand. "Okay now you." Roby says. "How old are you?" I asked. "Im 16. Im a sophmore in high school." Roby says. I nervous and over whelmed but I need to know more.

"How old are you?" He asked. "Im 19." "Family?" He asked me. "We havent been so lucky." I say looking at Wedgie. Wedgie then sqeezes my hand comfortingly. "Whos your father?" I asked. "Drake Roberts. Our mother and my father divorced a little over a year ago." Roby says looking at the floor.

"Whats your favorite color?" I asked. "Pastel blue." he says. "Sky blue." I say. "Favorite song?" He asked. "High Hopes by Panic at the Disco. It always reminds me to keep my head held high." I say. "Falling for Pain by TediMaye." He says. "You listen to my music?" I asked. "Ya. Its my favorite. Always has been really." He says.

"You wanna see a new song im working on? Its coming out next week but you could have a sneak peak." I said. "Ya id love to." He says. I get up and grab my notebook. "Okay so its a slow past pace kind thing. Its called Gone with Happiness." I say and we spend the rest of the afternoon talking about music.

He give me some ideas and its fantastic. We alot more alike then I ever thought possible."Roby it has been fantastic meeting you. I really have enjoyed it so much! More then you relize. I would love it if at 6 you would be willing to go to an interview with me with ABC news?" I asked hopeing he would say yes. Also no.

"Sure." He says with a shrug. "Thank you. We leave in 30 minutes. I have to be there 30 minutes early. "Sounds good to me." Roby said. I then walked to my room to get changed. Wedgie followed. "Do you trust this boy?" Wedgie asked.

"Trust I dont know. Love already." I said. "You just met the boy." "Hes my brother. My brother is always welcomed here. Hes been hidden away far to long. I want to get to know him. I want to be in his life." I said sternly. "Okay. But I know him. Hes gotten ISS and OSS alot!" Wedgie said.

"Ya. Well I had an affair with my teacher. So that doesnt change much if anything. Me and him are the same." I said. "No your not." "Yes we are. Now stop fighting with me. Roby is welcomed to come back!" I said. "Okay, fine." Wedgie said and left.

I took a long breath. This is gonna be a pain. When I was done getting ready we headed down to ABC news. When we got there it was almost our time to go up there. "Be yourself Roby." I said to him. "Okay." Is all he said. "Tonight we welcome TediMaye discussing what happened today with her father in court." The lady I know as Gina said.

I then walked out telling Roby to stay put. There was and applause and I went and sat down in the chair right by her. "Lovely to see you TediMaye." Gina said. "Lovely to see you Gina." I said with a smile.
