Thirty Minutes

"Get those papers down to the producer now." I said to my assistant while she hands me my morning coffee. "You are to be at court in 2 hours. After that ABC news wants to interview about the virdict on your fathers arrest at 6 tonight." She says. "Okay, ill be ready in 30 minutes. Now get those papers down to the producer." I said.

My life has been doing great so far. Im now 19 living the life ive always wanted. I couldnt be more happy if I tried. The only thing not making me happy is the fact that there wanted to let my father out of jail today. Its been 4 years since he was arrested and 4 years since I found out my mothers death was all a lie.

I hated that. I hated that she never came after me. She left me with a drunk of a father and left to go live her own new happy life. I wont deal with that in my life. I then went to my room and got ready for court. I wokeup Wedgie so he could get to work.

He worked at a local school teaching music appreciation. That made me happy with him working as a teacher again. Anymore the days just seem to blend together anymore. Set for today. Today is different. Im deadly scared today. But theres a small piece of hope that lies inside of me.

The hope being tho I would never ammit it would be my mother showing up today. I dont want to track her down. She left. But I had thought that she would of came looking for me after my father was arrested but she didnt. Im not sure what to think but I do know that she hurt me by leaving. Ill never be able to forgive her. I hate her for leaving. I want awncers. But the public seeems to be watching my every move anymore. So I cant really. Saddly enough. I called a cab and road the 15 minutes to court.
