I pushed the button to the laptop. Hoping it would work, luck was on my side for the first time since I came to this place. On the computer I found a single file, a video but before I click it I have to get the others! "HEY! Guys come here it's working!!" I shouted and waved at the others to get their attention and within a minute we were gathered around, ready to see what this video had to offer.
I clicked it... and a face I never thought I'd see again popped up.

On shaky legs I took my first step out of the airport onto the sidewalk, stretching after the long and stale flight. All around me was people walking in and out of the airport some more stressed than others. With a satisfiy sigh I took my bags and waved down a taxi
"Hopes peak academy," I say as I getting in the car. My name is Mei Dankota, the ultimate football player.

Ultimate... that felt as good as it felt strange. The fact that I was chosen to become an ultimate is surreal! I haven't slept for two days and the exhaustion was finally starting to catching up to me, every time I blinked my eyes closed for a little longer till they didn't open at all and I feel asleep in the taxi.
I woke up to a bell, making me shoot up. I had expected to wake up in the taxi but I'm definitely in a bed. Did someone carry me here? It's wouldn't be the first time, I'm quite small for my age, but it would still be creepy. I let out a yawn as my brain started to fully wake up making me more observant of my surroundings forcing myself out from under the warm covers, feeling a rush of the cold hit my body.
Now seeing the room it looked pretty bare with only a bed, a tv and a desk, nothing to give it personality. I found my shoes easily and put them on. Deciding to leave the room, easier said than done, dragging my hand through my damp hair. Damp? Is it raining outside? Well I have no time to think about that, I have to get out. Being trapped in the room I had no choice but to find a key or another way out.
Looking around the room I saw an envelope with a red seal and a black and white ribbon. Picking it up I feel it's to heavy to be just paper in it, and feeling an odd shape inside it can only be one of two things. A key or a bomb. Without any other choice I opened it seeing the desired key with a cute chibi version of myself attached fall out plus a letter.
"To ms. Mei Dankota, the ultimate football player. Welcome to hopes peak high school! Please get comfortable in your room and don't lose the key provided as there are no spare. Now please go to the gym for the opening ceremony starting at 9:00!

I'm at hopes peak? Really? I didn't think there was an opening ceremony at all when I think about it. Flipping the note for any kind of clue I'm unsuccessful. Instead looking around for some kind of confirmation of the time my eyes fell on a monitor. It was currently black but it did displayed a clock in the upper right corner, 8:17. Because of the fact I've never been to hopes peak or wasn't provided a map it would be best to just get going. Taking the key with me and unlocking the door I stepped out of the room into an empty hallway. It seemed to be 15 other room lining the walls parallel to each other. It felt so creepy, like something was about to happen, something bad. Probably that I'm alone in a school.
