Chapter 1 - deadly life: investigation

I couldn't believe my eyes Satoko was dead. I couldn't believe that the girl who I played cards with just a few days ago was dead. I couldn't believe... that someone killed my friend.

Soon everyone had gathered around the pool shocked at the scene in front of them. Well everyone except a certain bear.

"All right! Finally something interesting happens! Now I can explain the class trial more in depth" our attention we're on him now. "You have to find the culprit aka the blackened! If you succeed only the blackened will be punished but if you pick the wrong everyone besides the blackened will be punished and the blackened will graduate!" He laugh his maniacal laugh as I feel the dread creeping up my body. "Oh And here is a little thing to help in your investigation, the Monokuma file!" he handed us another tablet and disappeared. I gulp as I open the file.

Body found: ~12:05

Victim was found in the pool with signs of blunt force trauma to the forehead as the cause of death but no weapon could be found

That was all it stood, if anything it looks like an accident. She fell in the pool hit her head and drowned but...

"Mitsune retrieve the body for me would you," Tsuyune ordered.
"WHAT! No way do it yourself!" Mitsune refused.
"I can't swim and you don't need to touch her" she pointed at a lifebuoy on the wall. With a sigh Mitsune agreed taking the lifebuoy.

"Pull her in once I'm done..." she pulled the part with the rope expecting it to fall neatly, but it didn't it was tangled and had pink splatter? "What the?" Mitsune questioned. "Blood?" This caught Tsuyunes attention, I approach myself to see if it's evidence. She was right it is covered in blood.

Mitsune still retrieved Satoko as told and Tsuyune picked her from the water and started looking over her face and body.
"She's dead, you can't save her," I say trying not to look at Satokos face.
"An autopsy is important for an investigation, you should move along with your own, collect alibis or something" she seemed to be really focused as she looked at Satokos blood shot eyes. "Come back later"

With a sigh I left her deciding to go to Kimiaki and Setsuya at the other side of the pool.
"I'm telling you it looks strange," Kimiaki state as he points at a few almost identical splashes of blood.
"Are you telling me they walked in their toes? No one would do that if not running and they would definitely slip!" Setsuya dismisses the stains as just that.

"What's going on?" I ask.
"I think these stains could be footprints" I look at them.
"It doesn't look like footprints but it's strange that they look almost identical..."

I see where the stains come from and see a big stain of blood right at the waters edge. Looking closer at it I see long orange hair stuck in the uneven floor. Could the murder weapon be the floor? Could this simply be an accident?

"What where you guys doing at noon?" I ask making sure to collect some alibis.
"I was in my room, hence no alibi" Kimiaki admits.
"Same here," Setsuya add.
"Alright thank you"

I continue to the next people I see Chieru, Saika and Sou standing guard.

"Where were you guys at noon?" I ask.
"We were in the dining hall, Matsuki was there to" Sou answer.
