It all started with the motive, the victim, Satoko decided to question everyone individually to prevent a killing from happening. But her plan backfired, even she knew that was a possibility but she went with the risk of being targeted just so she could prevent a killing from happening. What she didn't expect was that someone was already planing to kill. The culprit probably hadn't come too far in their plans as this seemed like an 'in the moment' kill and was most likely caught in the preparations by Satoko when she went to the pool.

The culprit probably knew that if they didn't act then they wouldn't have had a chance without Satoko revealing her suspicious actions either before or after they took action so they waited till Satoko turned her back. the culprit took the lifebuoy and used the rope to strangle Satoko. Satoko, probably surprised by the attack, tried to fight back and ended up hurting the culprit and herself in the process.

Thanks to the strangling Satoko couldn't scream or call for help because of her broken vocal cords, this may also give her a hard time breathing leaving her vulnerable to a second attack. The culprit couldn't back out now and now with hurting hands they acted as fast as possible. Smashing Satokos head into the ground they made more of a mess than needed probably in an angry outburst.

When the culprit was sure Satoko was dead they threw her body into the pool, the sound myself, Mitsune and Sayo heard from the locker room. the culprit made a quick exit through the gym and in the end that led to their biggest mistake, they left their footprints in blood at the scene. those footprints led us to one person, that's YOU!
