Go West Young Hermit Part 7

Author's Note: Fight! Fight! Fight! The End is near.

((Two hours la.... lat..... l  a  t e  r))

 Wels:

 We ended up at the hideout when the sun still wasn't in the sky. Our little gang still had a chance at being unnoticed. 

 X parked the wagon and looked back at us. Scar was awake by now and was readying his bow and sword. 

 " Scream if anything bad happens." X whispered as the three of us nodded. I leapt out of the back of the wagon. The Scars came behind me; both of them wielding their weapons. 

 Sneaking into the cave, we walked silently in a line. I let out a sigh, " I wish we had at least one hybrid with us." I whispered. Other Scar sighed, " Well, Cub can't come down 'ere because of Python's poisoning." 

 I nodded slightly as we continued to sneak. The darkness was soon lit up as we reached a small cliffside that opened up into a dark cavern. My whole body twitched as I held up my hand. The others stopped as we peered out. 

 Crystals.

 Beautiful rainbow crystals lit up the cave. In the center of the cave, there were some cages on the ground. Beside the cages were Mighty, Ren, Cub, and Python.

 Mighty was laying down on the ground with a bunch of bite marks dug into her.

 Ren, sitting next to her, was playing a guitar quietly. He kept looking down at Mighty with a twitch of his ears. The both of them were chained to a post with iron shackles. 

 Scar shook my shoulders and pointed. I followed his hand and looked towards Cub and Python. Cub was sleeping against Python while the snake was staring at the cages. He frowned at the cages. 

 I assume that within the cages were the missing people.

 There was a loud gunshot that echoed through the cave. My whole body shook as I jerked back. My counterpart had fired the gun into the air. The other me looked around at his prisoners, " You, Dog, stop playing that guitar of yours." he hissed.

 Ren's ears went down, " ...." he nodded and placed the guitar down. The other me sighed and paced around, " Python, do you have an idea on what to do now?" he looked towards Python's counterpart, who was sitting at a table and sharpening a dagger. 

 My Python looked up, " I have an idea." he sneered slightly, " You let us go." he hissed as Wels looked over at him and scowled. Python gave him a smug look as Wels walked over and punched him in the muzzle. 

 The other me growled as he took out some rope. He wrapped it around Python's muzzle and tied to the same post to his claws were attached to. Python let out a muffled hiss as he struggled with the binds.

 Cub was slowly waking up. His tail twitched as he fell back asleep against Python. The snake hermit sighed and put his muzzle on top of Cub's head. 

 Other Python and me looked at each other. The two looked at each other, " Well, we could take one of Ren's trains and get out of here." Python sighed as he looked over at Ren. The dog looked down and hid his eyes.

 The two nodded at each other, " Sound plan my scaly friend, but we need to remember our little threat towards those idiots and my counterpart." the other me spoke in a low voice. Python nodded his head, " Right.... Who do we kill?" he questioned as his tongue flickered.

 Walking over to the cage, the other me brought out a young man was horribly cut black hair. He had a sharp wound going down like lip like X's scar. The wound on this guy was still fresh though. 

 " We could kill the pig. I always wondered what a pig tasted like." My counterpart grinned as the guy just faintly looked at him. The cage rattled as a bruised hand shot out of it, " YOU LEAVE HIM ALONE!" a male's voice shouted. 

 Python got up and opened the cage. He picked up a man with a broken leg. The guy was growling and snarling, " What was that Ash?" he questioned in a question.

 Ash let out a cough, " Leave Price the hell alone...." he gagged as Python drove his teeth into Ash's neck. The bear hybrid's ears perked up as his eyes turned hollow. He dropped to his knees and blacked out. 

 Price let out a whine as his pig tail wiggled. Wels dropped Price to the ground and let him crawl to Ash's side. He whimpered and wrapped his arms around Ash's body. The other me and Python both laughed at the unconscious man and Price.

 I looked back at the Scars. The three of us nodded and started our descent into the cavern. Western Scar decided to lead us down through the cavern until we reached the same open room. 

 The other Scar took out a gun, " I'll distract these idiots. You two work on freeing everyone." he growled in a low voice. Scar and I nodded as we went behind some crystals near Cub and Python. 

 Western Scar came out from his hiding spot with his gun. He fired it at other Python, and it hit him in the back. This caused a fight to break out between Scar and the other me. Scar and I quickly took the binds off of Cub and Python.

 " Oh, thank god you guys are here." Python whispered as I untied his mouth. I worked on his arms as he tried to rub his muzzle against my shoulder to soothe it. I smiled slightly as I got his arms free.

 I looked over at Scar as he got Cub free. The bear nuzzled his beard tiredly into Scar's neck, " I've got you Cub...." he whispered as he dragged Cub behind the crystals. The bear made a quiet, happy noise as he was laid down.

 Scar looked back at me as I took Python behind the crystals, " I'll keep Cub safe. The other me bit him hard." Python explained as we both nodded.

 The two of us looked at each other, nodded, and worked on freeing Price, Ash, Netty, Ren, and Mighty.
