Author's Note: Welcome to part 2. We now get to see what ever happened to Wels and Python. This is also one of the few times I actually write as Welsknight, so I don't think I got him right. Python is the same matter.

 Wels's POV:

My arms hurt so badly. I think they would've snapped like a twig if I held on any longer to that rope.

There was a small hiss coming from beside me. The following sound was a rattle.

 No.

 Seriously?

 The rattling continued.

This can't be happening, can it?

I ended up next to a freaking rattlesnake of all things! Not only will I end up lost; I'll also end up poisoned and infected

The hissing was followed like Python letting out a groan. I opened my eyes to looked to the source of the rattle.

Python was curled up in a ball next to me. His tongue flickered in and out as his tail twitched; a tail that had a rattle attached to it....

 That explained a lot.

" Python...." I shook his shoulder causing him to hiss tiredly. He stretched out and rolled away from me. I grumbled and raised my hand to him before stopping. My clothes had changed to being a grey undershirt and a black vest.

Python's clothes had changed as well from his suit to a similar vest and undershirt. His tail flicked giving off another rattle.

" You gave me a heart attack Craig... God man...." I growled under my breath as I shook the red, bearded snake awake.

Python cracked an eye open and yawned tiredly. He looked at me with his tongue flickering, " Five more minutes...." the hybrid complained as he curled himself back up.

I narrowed my eyes at him, " Python. We are separated from Cub and Scar, and we are in an unknown sand filled world with cacti everywhere." I pointed out as I looked around.

The sand and spiky water plants spread out as far as the eye could see under this harsh light.

It seemed like only Python and I were the only people in the area. We could've even been the only sentient thing for all I know.

Okay, no, I just saw some of these frilled lizards run by. There was also a roadrunner being chased by a coyote.

Python sat up and rubbed his muzzle tiredly, " That roadrunner looks delicious...." he licked at his muzzle. I stared blankly at him, " Don't be thinking about eating live animals around me man." I thought back to the first time I saw him snap his jaw to eat an unconscious rabbit.

I had nightmares for a week.

The two of us stood up and looked around. Python, using his height, surveyed the surroundings until he took a sharp step back.

" The dust is kicking up.... Three shadows coming at us." Python reported with a nod of his head. I looked out as the small dust kick-up transformed into a big one.

Python and I looked at each other and did the most logical thing that could come to either of our minds.

 Run.

The two of us turned tail and bolted in some direction. I honestly admit that we should've ran to the right or left, but when your fleeing for your life you don't really think.

I looked back at the shadows grew towards us as a dark brown rope came out. The rope went around my waist, and another rope would go around Python. We were both forced to the ground painfully.

There was some harsh struggling as I laid there on the sand. Python was hissing and snarling until a clamp was over his muzzle leaving him only to hiss in a quiet tone.

A rough hand hoisted me into the air. The hat wearing man stared at me with glowing purple eyes, " Hey Jeremy." he looked out at the smaller man that was wresting with Python and forcing him onto the back of his stead.

" Yeah, Ry?" the shorter man, Jeremy, looked over at his partner with his head cocked to the side. This Ry guy looked between me and Python, " I think we may have accidently caught the wrong fellows." he frowned as he set me down.

Jeremy straightened up, " These aren't those outlaws?" he questioned as Ry nodded. Jeremy looked at a poster that he brought out of his pocket. The two studied the posters and swapped between looking at us, each other, and the poster.

I narrowed my eyes as the harsh sun continued to beat down on me. Python was still whining as he tried to open his mouth.

The two men mumbled to each other before a loud squawk came from overheard. I glanced up at a large bird came in and landed on Jeremy's hand. He smiled and took the message, " Let's see here.... Reported missing by Sheriff Xisumavoid... In need of finding a tall, red snake hybrid, and a blond man in grey." he looked at us.

Python looked at me with a shocked expression. I nodded at him silently. Jeremy and Ry looked at us, " Well, I assume that would be you two?" he questioned as I nodded, " Yes sirs." I answered in a low tone.

The two looked at each other and Ry helped me onto the horse, " Well, we honestly shouldn't remove your bindings until we reach the town and get some answers." Jeremy sighed. I looked down at Python as he whined.

" Can you at least let Python sit up normally?" I asked the shorter man as his eyebrows raised. Jeremy made a quiet 'oh' as he lifted Python up so that he was sitting upright. The snake hybrid let out an audible sigh.

" Thph woo...." Python spoke in his muffled way as his tail twitched. The four of us rode off towards the town.
