(Parker's POV)
It's been a couple of months since the accident.
My ribs have finished healing, so I can head outside again, but the thing is: I don't want to. After seeing him again after 17 years, I'm more afraid than ever. What if he sees me in public? Would I be able to handle it? Would he recognize me? I couldn't take that risk.
Peter has been spending the night at my dads' house whenever he gets the chance. He's doing this to make sure I'm eating well, sleeping okay, and over all safe and protected. After we had are talk, Peter's been determined on making sure I'm not feeling any negative emotions or thoughts.
My nightmares have gotten worse. It's gotten to a point were I'd wake up screaming at the top of my lungs. My dads have been doing everything they could to help me with them. Wade even went out to buy God knows how many packets of Oreo's and a couple of gallons of milk, much to Danny's delight. I know my dads are trying their best, but it's not working as well as when I was younger. Peter is the only one who knew how to calm me down completely. I only told him in detail on what each nightmare was about, causing him to know exactly what to say to calm me. He knew more than the others, and if it wasn't for him, I'd be losing it.
Vincent, Mike, and Monika have been visiting often, always checking up on me to see if I was okay. Monika and I still needed to talk about what happened at the hospital, but I needed to tell Peter first, so that the three of us can talk it out.
My boss, Cherry, at Dunk N' Donuts is letting me take as much time off as I need. She and the other co-workers heard about what happened, and want to make sure I'm completely well, both physically and emotionally, before I come back into work. They even got me one of those huge "Get Well Soon" cards, everyone's names signed on the inside. Plus, a girt card that can get me a Texas donut. I love my job.
The accident has been all over the news. Saying how the Foxy animatronic went haywire, and attacked me to the brink of death. Next thing you know, I'm famous for surviving Freddy's all over again.
The police, on the other hand, know somethings up. They've checked the scene of the attack, and Foxy. They found no traces of my blood on Foxy, or his hook. The police even interviewed Peter and I, repeating the story, only changing the yellow Bonnie to Foxy. The police took notes, and didn't ask any further questions. Peter and I let out a sigh of relief when they left. It was a close call, too close.
On Sunday morning, Peter was helping my dads with shopping, leaving me alone at the house. I was about to switch on the TV when there was a knock on the front door. As always, Vincent, Mike, and Monika came to visit once again, holding a box of donuts.
"We thought you'd like them," Vincent laughed, as I scarfed most of the box.
After I devoured the donuts, we ended up surfing the channels to see what they had. At one point, we came across the news channel. Out of curiosity, we watched it for a bit, until the news anchor, a tan woman with brown hair, started saying this:
"We then switch on over to Officer Dwight, who is investigating the case of Parker Elizabeth James's attack at the old famous restaurant, Freddy Fazebears Pizzeria. He says he has found new evidence to the case, which is quite shocking. Over to you, Dwight."
The scene changed to a man with red hair in a police uniform, standing in front of the pizzeria. "Thanks, Janice." He responded. "We were normally going to do no investigation, but when we saw the fox animatronic had no blood on him, we knew something was up. My men and I have been questioning Parker, and another witness, Peter Wiseton, but they told us the same story. We kept looking, just in case it's something more, and sure enough, it is."
