MAX MAYFIELD WASN'T the type of girl you'd expect to love dance. She was more frequently seen with a skateboard at the arcade rather than in the studio with ballet shoes on. But ever since a young age the girl had loved to dance about and express herself through movement so when she heard the news about Miss Hunt's dance classes she signed herself up quicker than you can say "Demogorgan" Now, all she had to do was convince her boyfriend to join. Easy right?
"C'mon Lucas!"
"I'm not coming to your stupid dance class," The boy shook his head firmly, ignoring Max's groans.
"We can do it together!" This argument had been going on for about 5 minutes now, both too stubborn to give up and give the other the satisfaction.
"I already told you, I have to babysit Erica on Wednesdays! I'm not bringing her along," Lucas shuddered at the thought of having to dance with his sister for an hour straight. It was bad enough having to look after her whilst his parents went out to dinner.
"And i told you! I don't need a babysitter!"
"The list on the fridge of your favourite snacks says otherwise," Lucas shot back at his little sister who was now standing in the doorway with her arms folded. She rolled her eyes in response.
"Well who am I supposed to dance with?" Max moaned, bringing her boyfriends attention off of his sibling for a second. Lucas studied her for a second. "You do realise you're going to be the best dancer at the classes whether I'm there or not,"
With a grin, Max playfully shoved her boyfriend, ignoring the compliment and trying to hide the small blush creeping along her freckled cheeks. There was silence for a moment.
"Nerds!" Came the voice from the other room.
_____ WORD COUNT: 376 AUTHOR'S NOTE: i just wanted to clear up that this is set after season 1/a little in the middle of season 2. they all had to fight the demogorgan last summer and el has "disappeared" just like the show but the mind flayer doesn't exist here! anyways i'm not sure if i like this chapter so comment & vote pls!
