“Mommy my wrists hurt” James moaned for the third time. His father just wished he would keep his mouth shut, but how could he know? His father shot him a look.

‘James, honey. You have to keep those on, we can’t have you running into enemy territory again, they are following us, remember?” Replied his mother “I’ll get you to safety, I’ll protect you, I promise.” She said with a grin.

“They look like war boots.” Said Jay inspecting them further.

“I don’t recognise the printing. They might not be mine” Lillian replied. “Angel. Do you think the police station is open?”

“Of course. It’s only three p.m” Angel answered. Lillian said bye to her new friends before Angel and her took off towards the police station. “I’m coming in with you though.” Lillian smiled while giving her a thumbs up, she doubted Angel could hear her over the engine.

The girls rode up to the police station, taking the boot and the bag, they walked in the doors. Lillian asked the secretary for Officer Foster, and he was down there in minutes. His eyes widened at the sight of the bag.

“I think we should bring this into my office.”
