Nothing will ever make you feel as hollow as when there is no one there to hear your desperate cry for help. Lillian screamed. Nothing happened except the birds over head flew away. She realized she was crying again. Why was there no one out here to help her? Where was she? Lillian took a step, a flaming pain shot up her leg. She yelled out in pain as she fell to her knees. She pulled her leg up. The fishing line had ripped through her skin.

Lillian tugged the fishing line, but it only cut deeper. Her hands and feet were covered in blood. She yelled out for help. But again nothing changed.  Lillian realized it was getting darker, and she couldn’t be alone in this forest. She was cold and wet, shaking madly. It never crossed her mind how she got there or why she can’t remember what happened. But she had to move. To save her own life. But she was tired… Too tired… Lillian collapsed onto the ground once again, exhaling an exhausted whine before she fell into a deep sleep.
