AN HOUR LATER Johnny came to Mackenzie's door (or unfortunately Mandla's), waiting to see Mackenzie after a long time. The door opened before him revealing Mackenzie standing there standing at him blankly.
"Hey baby," Johnny said wrapping her in a hug. He could feel how tense she was, muscles tightening at every touch. "Are you... ok?" He asked, sensing something was wrong.
"Fine," She replied simply, walking away from Johnny and into the kitchen. There, Mandla was sitting eating granola and yogurt when he saw Johnny sitting there.
"Well there goes an end to a perfect morning," Mandla said rolling his eyes when Johnny came into view. Johnny just stared at him in response, hoping he wouldn't let anything slip about the ski trip with Nadia. Johnny had been debating about whether or not to tell Mackenzie about the kiss, and Mandla being there made it even harder.
"So, how was the trip Johnny," Mackenzie said eying him as he took a seat next to her. Johnny widened his eyes at her harsh question, wondering why she was acting this way.
"I mean I got to tell the girl I loved that I loved her over text, so I guess it was a win-win," Johnny said smiling at Mackenzie. Mackenzie just shook her head in disappointment.
"I'll bet it was also fun making out with Nadia right!" Mackenzie said not breaking her stare with Johnny. Johnny's heart dropped, realizing he was in the situation he feared... this was his worst nightmare.
"You fucking told her?" Johnny yelled at Mandla, heading towards him.
"You knew?" Mackenzie asked staring at Mandla. Mandla turned from Johnny to Mackenzie unsure of what to say.
"Kenzie I swear, it's not how you think it was. Nadia kissed me, and as soon as she did, I pulled her off of me." Johnny said running his hands through his hair. This situation looked so bad for him, and all he wanted was for Mackenzie to know how much he loved her.
"I don't fucking care about the kiss as much as I care that you stayed with Nadia even though she was clearly flirting with you the whole night!" Mackenzie yelled angrily. "And don't say you didn't realize she was flirting when you and her both knew it." Mackenzie finished.
"M-Mackenzie, please, I really wasn't even in the best state of mind... you know I love you and you're the only girl that's ever made me feel the way I do around you. You know you changed me right?" Johnny said biting his lip to prevent the wave of emotions to pour out.
"Please Johnny, just get out." Mackenzie whispered.
"What?" Johnny said with a face that was truly broken.
