IT HAD BEEN WEEKS since Mackenzie direct messaged Johnny on Instagram, simply asking him to talk. He ignored her. Mackenzie called Lauren and explained that while what Lauren said about her being scared of commitment was true, she wasn't going to fight for a relationship that clearly wasn't two sided. She was over Johnny.
"I think we should do a vacation trip," Hayden said to his friends, while they all sat in Lauren's room surrounded by different snacks.
"Only if Darius gets to come with me!" Nadia exclaimed, flexing on the fact that Darius Marcell was her boyfriend. After Nadia's situation, she joined a counseling club at school to help deal with her emotions, and Darius Marcell happened to be the grade captain of the club. The rest is history.
"I'm down," Johnny said in between a bite of his pretzel. "Where to?"
"What about skiing?" Hayden asked.
"No way I'm freezing to fucking death. Let's go somewhere tropical so I can wear my new bathing suits!" Lauren exclaimed. Johnny rolled his eyes at her comment.
"Agree with the place, disagree with the reason." He said.
"I'm with them," Nadia said, not even listening to the conversation and instead texting with Darius. "And Darius said he can come!".
"I guess we'll fly to some Island..." Hayden said, going online and booking five plane tickets.
"MACKENZIE, THE DOOR!" Mackenzie's mom yelled from upstairs.
