JOHNNY, NADIA, HAYDEN, LAUREN, AND DARIUS had boarded the plane, and it was about to be take off. This trip was anxiously awaited by all of them, so excited to get out of Seattle for the first time in awhile.
"We're going to have some fun," Hayden whispered into Lauren's ear a little after the plane was up in the air.
"You tried it," Johnny said tapping Hayden from his other side. Hayden was about to make a comment about Johnny's middle part, but he was interrupted by a beep with an announcement by the flight attendant.
"Hi everyone. Unfortunately we have just received word from the pilot that if we continue flying to the islands, our engine may not be able to power the entire time. An engine issue like this means we will have to replace the entire engine which takes several days. We are stopping at the Los Angeles Airport, the closest one to where we are currently, and we will be staying there for a few days until the plane is fixed. You can stay in the airport rooms, or make individual plans. We apologize for the inconvenience."
"Are you fucking kidding me?" Hayden jumped up, then quickly covered his mouth and sank back down in his seat embarrassed. Load groans travelled throughout the plane, ruining everyone's vacation mood.
"We can stay in the airport though, it's no big deal right?" Nadia asked, holding hands with Darius.
"Actually, we can't." Darius responded. "My cousin once had a similar stop over and he told me the rooms are disgusting, they barely clean up, and the food is hella expensive."
"Well what the fuck are we going to do then?" Johnny asked.
They all got off of the plane with faces of defeat. They had no place to sleep, and they didn't know how long it was going to be. Not to mention that they were tired, hungry, and stressed out.
Suddenly, an idea popped into Lauren's head.
"I have an idea guys... but the odds of it happening are so unlikely." Lauren said.
"We're desperate," Hayden added. "What is it?"
"Mackenzie Ziegler." Lauren said, instantly causing Johnny to look at Lauren.
