The seven suited individuals sat across the conference table and stared on at the three Divine beings. Two large muscularly attractive powerful brothers sat on either side of the lone female high priestess. Her name was Qi Yin and she was ancient.

Her counterparts were her Divine consultants and protectors among other things. But that day, they were guardians and mediators. Their names were Amurael and his younger brother, Shonurael.

"My daughter is highly protected so any business matters you wish to pursue can be discussed with myself and my constituents. So, I advise you be frank since my time is precious and my words are limited," responded Qi Yin dismissively as she grabbed Shonurael's hand while he caressed her cheek protectively.

One of the men who went by the pseudonym, 'Greed', scoffed angrily and sat up before pounding his fist on the table.

"SHE WAS PROMISED TO US, QI YIN AND OUR TIME IS NIGH! YOU SURELY WILL NOT DENY OUR PROPHECY SINCE WE WAITED ON THE SIDELINES FOR SO LONG!" he snapped.

The others watched on as a female by the name of 'Lust' gripped his shoulder and pulled him back before he stood up.

Amurael grinned amusingly at the seven others across from them as his hand slid behind Qi Yin's chair and pulled her closer to him.

"Gentlemen...and beautiful lady, Lust. Surely we can come up with another solution instead of giving up our Queen so willingly. She is a very precious commodity after all and her energy is not for sale," replied Shonurael quite coldly.

"Oh, Shonurael. How I do miss the old days when you spoke my name with much more feeling than what you are feeling presently. How IS your libido nowadays, love? Any luck with that now that you have chosen the righteous, divine way? Vulgarity WAS always your forte' lover," chuckled Lust.

Shonurael's eyes narrowed and smiled seductively at her.

"Don't think I had forgotten our centuries together at Ninth Gate, beautiful. I am still trying to wash the bad taste out of my mouth, woman," he chuckled sardonically while she angrily sat back in subtle embarrassment.

"...And what say you, darling Amurael? Have you missed me?" responded Lust as her green eyes lingered on Amurael's amused face.

"Hehe...I won't lie, Lust. I miss those times we were together. But emptying my load in you is all I remember these days. So...thanks for that. God is good," smiled Amurael.

"ENOUGH!" yelled another one of the seven individuals.

And his name was Wrath.

The gentleman's long hair blew in a non-existent wind as it flew in front of his shoulders while he stood up angrily before chuckling apologetically and cracking his knuckles.

"Excuse me, but I'm still trying to harness these mortal emotions that make those humans so goddamn weak. It's a work in progress. So, now that I'm a bit more collected, I just need to reiterate the importance of the Divine's rules regarding timing of the Universal sort. When it's our time...it's our time. And Michael DID state the obvious a few months back when the trumpets sounded for the changing of the guard. What was it he said, brother Envy?" smiled Wrath.

"Still not apologizing for your faux pas, huh? Nice to know some things never change Wrath or should I call you by your Angelic name?" laughed Shonurael.

"Oh, there's no need for that since the Mother knows we need no further introductions. But as my salty twin brother Wrath stated, he just wanted me to confirm the obvious once again. Michael announced the coming of the tides. In other words...'Thy time is nigh'. That IS what he said, was it not?" chuckled Envy.

Qi Yin's lidded eyes blinked angrily before maintaining her composure. She subtly squeezed Shonurael's hand underneath the table before he squeezed hers in return quite protectively.

"Oh, gentlemen and...lady of the night, Lust--"

"Just Lust is fine Qi Yin," muttered Lust quite angrily as she shot a warning glance in Qi Yin's direction.

"Oh, I'm pretty sure it's been nothing but, my dear sister. How the men do love you still...or shall I say...they lust you still. How befitting of you, Delilah," chuckled Qi Yin as she returned a cynical gaze in Lust's direction.

"The names, Qi Yin! Watch it," warned another large gentlemen by the name of Gluttony.

"I stand corrected. My apologies. As I was going to state earlier...why don't we just let this Divine timing play out while the mortals figure out their places in all of this? They do take quite awhile when we're in their meatsuits so...are we in agreement? But in the meantime, I promise, we'll make it worth your while gentlemen and...lady," winked Qi Yin over to a very irritated looking Lust.

"Fine. So it's been settled. Are we done here? I have a District Attorney I'm trying to corrupt at the moment," stated Greed dismissively as he filed his nails.

"Then this conference is over people. Let's move!" ordered Amurael as he and Shonurael took Qi Yin by the hand and stood up in unison while previously invisible angelic entities materialized all around the individuals across the table.

Lust scoffed angrily when she noticed a blade was in front of her neck the whole time while a beautiful Archangel chuckled amusingly and backed away. She glanced up at him and shook her head in humorous disbelief.

"Azrael. Nice to see you have agreed to demote yourself to a simple soldier for your brothers Amurael and Shonurael. Have you told them about us yet, daddy?" joked Lust.

"I'm fortunate enough to have forgotten that one time of weakness, Delilah. So, just don't bring it up. I'm still trying to readjust my...situation down below to this day, woman," muttered Azrael as he flipped his blade playfully back into his sword sheath at his side before joining Qi Yin,  Amurael, and Shonurael.

As they all left the room, Amurael turned around and winked slyly at Lust.

"You know where to call me if you wanna revisit some...things cutie. I'm game," he chuckled as they closed the door behind them.

Lust grinned amusingly and sat back into her chair. She had to take a double glance as Wrath clicked his tongue in disapproval.

"I suggest you keep your head in the game Lust. Amurael is not an energy you want to get involved with once again. Remember why you two didn't work out, succubus," he warned as the other gentlemen stood up.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. He almost made me regain my goddamn wings. Psh. As if I wanna be angelic again. I'm just not into following the rules or dealing with the bullshit politics anymore so you have nothing to worry about," muttered Lust.

Gluttony was tossing a baseball back and forth between his hands and laughed softly.

"Hehe...Delilah? Little sis? Who are you fooling, huh? Maybe you should tell that to your daughter. Oops. Amurael still has no idea, does he? Man, Lust. You really fell off the deep end with that one little mistake," he chuckled as he rolled his baseball playfully over her cheek before she shoved him forward while they disappeared into the Nether.
