it was in the wealthy town of west ham, connecticut where a community was plagued with a nerving odor that never ceases. just when you thought it was gone, it crept back into the town like a lurking shadow. fortunately, the students sixteen and up were taking a trip to the smokey mountains, escaping the scent. after a whole day of driving, everyone wakes up back home due to the weather conditions. it was once they all returned to their homes, that they realized no one was there.
