The next morning we left really early for Grimaulds place. Harry was extremely grumpy, because Snape gave him a tough night. He had been Occlumency for hours and had no progress. He apparently had read Snape's mind and Snape went completely mental about it.
So back to Grimaulds place. We had been there for a few days and the first thing I did when I got there was write a letter to Draco about why I had left. It was Christmas today and Mr. Weasley was released from St. Mungo's hospital.
Mrs. Weasley wheeled Mr. Weasley into the room and sat him at the head of the table. Everyone cheered and Mrs. Weasley ordered everyone to sit down. I had been watching from the back of the room and walked up to the table. Mrs. Weasley hugged me and pushed a red box in my hands. I sat down next to Samira and unwrapped the present. Inside the box was a night-blue beanie with the first letter of my name in gold on it.
The moment I stood up and wanting to walk over to Mrs. Weasley, a big eagle owl swooped in and dropped a silver colored box on the table. I recognized the owl as Draco's. I quickly grabbed some bread crumbs and fed it to the owl. I grabbed the box and carefully unwrapped it. I gasped and nearly dropped the box at the sight of what was inside.
It was a moon necklace and the moon and the stars in the picture moved, as if it was really happening. I took the necklace out of the box and held it up, so the others could see it. "He really knows what you like, doesn't he?" Ron scoffed. This comment earned him a smack from Mrs. Weasley. "He does." I replied.
Draco knew how much I loved space, that's why the Astronomy tower was one of my favorite places to go at Hogwarts. I quickly dashed up the stairs and grabbed my present for him. I came down and handed it to the eagle owl. I grabbed a piece of parchment and a quill and started writing.
Dear Draco
Thank you so much for the necklace, I absolutely love it. I hope you'll like your present and have a great Christmas.
Love,
(Y/N)
I rolled up the parchment and tied it around the owls leg. I heard footsteps and I turned my head and saw Harry coming in. I ran up to him and wrapped him in a tight hug. "Merry Christmas, Harry." I mumbled in his shoulder. "Merry Christmas, (Y/N)." Harry replied. We parted and I pulled him over to the others.
"A Christmas toast. To Mr. Harry Potter and Mrs. (Y/N) Hydra, without whom I would not be here." Mr. Weasley spoke. "Harry and (Y/N)." Mr. Weasley said while raising his glass. "Harry and (Y/N)." The others repeated, while raising there glasses too. "Harry and (Y/N)." Two voices said from behind us. I turned around and my father and Sirius stood there with raised glasses. I smiled as I saw my dad. He walked up to me and pulled a small box out of his pocket. "Are you going to propose?" I joked. "Well, you could kind of say that." He laughed. I took the box out of his hand and opened it. Inside was a ring.
"This was your mothers wedding ring. I found it in her old jewelry box and I didn't want it to go to waist." He said softly. I hugged my dad and cried silently. I pulled back and slit the ring around my right ring finger. "It fits perfectly." My father smiled.

Harry, Ron, Hermoine, Daniel, Samira and I had gone upstairs after dinner so we could pack our bags and we came back down so we could spend the rest of our Christmas evening with our friends and family.
As I walked down the stairs I noticed an open door with a lot of names and pictures of people inside it. I slowly walked into the room and looked around. The walls were a dark green and there was a white tree painted on the wall. On some branches were painted pictures of people and there names were underneath them.
"Nasty brat, standing there as bold and brass. (Y/N) Hydra, the girl who survived the Dark Lord's attack. Friend of Mudbloods and Blood-traitors alike." Kreacher hissed. "If my poor mistress only knew-" Kreacher was stopped by Sirius's voice. "Kreacher!" He boomed. "That's enough of your bile. Away with you!" Kreacher slowly left the room, muttering curses to himself.
"Sorry about that." Sirius apologized. "It's alright, Sirius. He is used to live with Pure-Bloods who are only associating with their own 'kind'." I said, making airquotes. "Well, he never was very pleasant, even when I was a boy." Sirius responded. "You grew up here?" I asked. "This is my parents' house. I offered it to Dumbledore as Headquarters for the Order. About the only useful thing I've been able to do." I turned my head towards him and looked him dead in the eye. "That's not true. You've been navigating the Order and you have given your thoughts on what you think is the best to do. That the whole UK is after you because of something you didn't do isn't your fault. You've done what you could and you should see that as something good." I said. "You sound so much like your mother, she, too, could see the best in these kind of situations. You're just like them. You've got the looks and the brains from your mother and the attitude from your father." Sirius smiled. I smiled too and turned back to the painting on the wall.
"This is the Black family tree." Sirius stated. My eyes fell on Bellatrix. "My deranged cousin. I hated the lot of them. My parents with there Pure-Blood mania." Sirius said. "I know how that is. I'm dating a Pure-Blood and his father is the worst. Draco told me that he wasn't allowed to date Muggle-borns and not even Half-Bloods. He told me that if there would be one drop of Muggle in his girlfriend, his father would forbid him to date that girl. I'm kind of happy that I'm Pure-Blooded now." I told Sirius. "That may means that you'll be family one day." Sirius smiled. "Aren't I that already?" I grinned. "Of course you are. Same goes for Harry." I smiled and hugged him.
"Why is your picture black?" I asked while pointing at the place where Sirius's picture ones had been. "My mother did that after I ran away. Charming woman. I was 16." I frowned. "Where did you go?" I asked. "Round your dad's and the Potters. I was always welcome at the Potters' and the Hydras'. I see them so much in you, (Y/N). You are so very much like them." Sirius smiled.
"I don't really know. I my dream when Mr. Weasley was being attacked, I was the snake. And in Dumbledore's office, I was so confused and scared that I let a part of me that I've never seen before out. This connection between Voldemort, me and Harry, it's changing us. We're sharing more traits and I'm afraid something bad will happen. That we'll do something bad. I feel so angry all the time and I believe Harry feels the same."
Sirius stepped closer to me and lay his hand on my shoulder. "I want you to listen very carefully, (Y/N). You and Harry are not bad persons. You're a very good person who bad things happened to. You understand?" I nodded. "Besides, the world isn't split into good people and Death Eaters. We've all got both light andd dark inside of us. And you know that as the best. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are." Sirius told me.
There was a small knock on the door and Hermoine's head popped up from around the corner. "(Y/N), time to go." Hermoine stated. "When all this is over, we'll be family. You'll see." Sirius pulled me closer and hugged me. I pulled back and walked out of the room with Hermoine.
Sirius is right, I'm the one that chooses.
