The Power of Winter 2 (A Jelsa Fanfic Sequel)

Chapter 2

                                              Jack's P.o.V

"Oh, Evelyn, you can finally come home!" Elsa exclaims, throwing her arms around Evelyn.  My breath catches in my throat.

"Oh my god." I choke out.  "We finally found you."

"What?  How am I-?" she asks.  

"Eve is.... what?" Pey asks in disbelief.

"Eve, you are a lucky butt." Sam says.

"We have to bring you back to the kingdom as soon as we can." Elsa says, letting go of her.

"It has to be after school, I have to tell my parents, or....  It'll have to be after then." Evelyn says.

"I'll come back." I say immediately.  I pull her into a hug, "I won't let you slip away again."  Her arms wrap around me slowly.  I hold her tightly.

"I thought you used your powers for love, not ice." Amy says to Elsa.

"I found a way to use both.  For ice," she shoots some ice to side, "I just shoot.  For love," she pretends to draw back an arrow, then lets go, sending out red ice, "I do that."

"Cool." Pey squeals.  I let go of Evelyn, then someone blows a whistle.

"That's the call." she says.

"I'll meet you out front, alright?" I say to Evelyn.

"Alright." she says, hugging Elsa and me.  I kiss her forehead.

"Go learn something." I smile.  She runs off with her friends.  We watch her head in.  I put my arm around Elsa's shoulders and squeeze.

"We finally found her." she says, putting her hand over mine.

I take a deep breath, "We did."  She smiles up at me with tears in her eyes.  "Come on, let's get you home." I say, grabbing her waist.

                                               Evelyn's P.o.V

So, I'm Jack Frost and Elsa's child who was taken from them when I was a month old and my 'parents' aren't actually my parents.  I rub my head as I head into math and go to my seat.  

"Hey, girlie." I hear beside me.  I smile and look up.  My boyfriend, Ben, sits down next to me.

"Hey, Ben." I say.

"Are you alright?" he asks.

"Yeah, just tired." I say.

"Don't worry, it's almost the end of the day." he assures me.  I smile and hold his hand.

"You always know what to say." I tell him.

"I try." he smiles.  

At the end of the day, I walk out and look around.  I see Jack in a corner and head over to him.

"My other mom is taking me home today." I say.

"I'll follow." he says.  I nod and walk back out, leading him to my 'mom's car.

When we get home, we get inside and I set my stuff down.

"Mom, dad?" I call.

"Yeah, sweetie?" my other mom says.

"Is there something you would like to tell me?" I ask.

They look at each other, "What do you mean?" she asks.

"I met my parents today.  My real parents.  They found me." I tell them.  "Why would you keep this from me?"

"Because we knew you would go looking.  Evelyn, we didn't know who you're parents were, or where they were.  You were left on our doorstep with nothing but a note that said 'Be careful'.  That's really why we moved, to be safe." she explains.
