The Confrontation

The failure of one of the most capable officer of the crime branch department had caught the attention of the media. Now the whole thing was being discussed on a whole another level.

The Chambers

The commissioner of police was present at the meeting along with other high profile personnel. The emergency meeting was called upon the request of the chief minister of the state, Prashant himself.

"So Mr Vijay,your masterpiece had fallen. That's such a great news,that I can't digest even now",anger was swelling inside him every moment.

"You are a bunch of useless and inefficient policemen, nothing else",he added before sitting on his seat.

"I've called the special forces unit to take care of this vermin. I can't tolerate much of this happenings going down in my city",a smile finally graced his lips as a group of ten persons arrived in the office.

"So , ladies and gentlemen, before you stand one of the most brutal and merciless elite forces of India. From now on this case will be handled by Unit X and all of you will support them in every way you can",said Prashant as he dismissed the meeting with a wave of his hand.

Secret Chambers

Three figures could be seen standing in shadows in a dark chamber. There were many weapons of different sizes, ranging from daggers to swords to throwing knives, everything was present in abundant amount.

After a couple of minutes,a figure spoke,"You will be hunted down by an elite group of mercenaries,hired by the Chief Minister of the state himself. They all are A ranked mercenaries,so have to be very much careful from now on",spoke a voice which seemed feminine,yet was so much chilling that would have freaked out anyone,but not the figure standing in front of her.

"Don't worry, Princess. I'll handle everything they will throw at me and will see how they will cope up with me",their was a sense of accomplishment in the hodded figure's voice,which was visible from the relaxed pose of the other two members.

"We don't doubt your abilities. None else can! The feat you've accomplished,is unattainable by any other living being. The pain you had gone through is unbelievable,Dragon",said the other male member with a sense of pride in his voice.

"The title of Dragon Fighter, bestowed on you by the Darkness Emperor,is a feat no one had achieved in ages. You're the true legacy of our lineage",said Princess with a smile graced upon her lips.

"You two are one of the greatest flatterrs I've ever known. Let's pack things up and I'll lure the new mercenaries to my favourite hunting ground. Then , I'll see how they will survive my training",smiled Dragon as all of them disappeared in shadows .

Police headquarters

All the police personnel were on high alert after the members of unit X stationed themselves in areas around the incidents of the attack the hooded assassin.

"What do you think, Agent Ross? Is he stupid enough to show himself in front of us,just to get himself killed!!",said Roy,ex agent of the criminal investigative agency.

"You guys seemed to be pretty busy with something?", asked an old man sweeping the streets.

"Naah,it's nothing much, uncle. There is some notorious criminal who will get justice from us tonight",said Roy in a cocky voice full of arrogance.

"Is this the same person,who is on the news headlines for quite a long time?",asked the old man in his wavering voice.

"Yes,you are right, old fellow. He has caused much nuisance and will be rightfully killed tonight",Ross said with arrogance in his voice.

"But as far as I know,he lives in woods that are inaccessible to others",added the old man.

"How do you know all of this? Do you know him in person? Answer me,old fellow! Otherwise feel my wrath!",said  Roy as he began to beat the old man.

"Roy! Roy! Stop you fool! Have you gone nuts? We're already  questioned many times by local police and the comman fellas,I don't think killing this old man could do anything right!", explained Ross with a stern tone that made Roy back off.

"You're lucky enough to escape my wrath,old man! Consider this as my gift and get lost",Roy kicked hard the old man in the ribs as the old man finally got up and started to walk in the woods.

"I think he's somehow related to that assassin. So are you with me?",asked Roy as Ross nodded in affirmation and both went after the old man in the woods.

After walking for what it seems to be eternity,they couldn't find the old man. Exhausted and lost, they sat down and started to rethink about their decision of walking into the woods. Suddenly,they felt rustling of trees.

"I think we should call the backup!",Roy said in a little quivering voice. They called and informed the headquarters.

"Tiger 1 calling! Tiger 1",said Ross as voice from the other side responded,"Roger Tiger 1! State your position",a voice spoke from the other side.

"I think we are in the vicinity of the assaisan! Send backup ASAP",Ross said in a voice which reflected emergency.

"Roger that Tiger 1! Reinforcements are on their way",both of them sighed a breath of relief as the rustling finally settled down.

"You shouldn't worry that much,my friends! If I wanted to kill you,I could've easily done that a while ago",said a mysterious voice that demanded respect.

"Who are you! Dare to show your face",said Roy and in a fit of rage started firing bullets all around.

"Stop Roy! I think we are surrounded", Ross said after weighing his chances.

"Indeed you are ,my friends! By the way,a truckload of your friends need help. Rush towards the bridge,if you wanted them to live",and with that the voice finally faded away.

They rushed to bridge to find a bloody company crying out for help.

"Indeed he's a monster",Ross said as both of them drove the company to nearest hospital.
