Prem had just passed college and she was looking for job. Although she is the daughter of an affluent attorney, yet she thought of making her own way. Her friends circle was very large and in that circle, the  rich kids find their place.

I was just a  regular batch mate of Prem and her friends, but nowhere their level.

I was born in a lower middle family. So, if you are born in a Lower middle class family, you have to make adjustments with the life and conditions, your whole life. Mine life was not so different.

I completed my studies on scholarship and hence got admission in the most influential college of the area.

There I met Raj and Joseph, my partners in crime and my best friends. We share everything between us, so there was no secrets. They knew I liked Prem but couldn't say to her, as she was always gathered by her friends.

One day, I decided to take my feelings out and say it to her. I confronted her when no one was around and told her, "Prem I love you". My feet were literally shaking with fear.

She said, " What? Are you out of your fucking mind? How could you say that? ", she shouted at me at such a voice that a small crowd gathered around.

Santosh, her friend said, " Looks like you finally decided to make your move, you filthy poor", he said as various other friends of Prem attacked him verbally.

"Creatures like u should remain in the hell hole in which you live", said Rita, her friend.

" But my feelings for you are pure ", I said to Prem, finally having enough of bullying.

" So, you want to make her, the daughter of the most famous attorney of the area, to be your girlfriend? Who are you? You stinking rat! ", said Sujeet, her best friend.

I was sure,I wasn't stinking! Hell I have always used my Axe Perfume before going out, but this abuse , it's literally breaking me down. Finally, a tear rolled from my eyes and fell onto Prem's hand as she was standing next to me. Before she could comprehend, I ran like hell, as fast as my legs could take me.

" I guess, you made the biggest mistake of your life Prem ", Raj said loudly before mixing in the crowd.

" Everyone is just fake. Money, influence, power all are necessary for love, then I won't love anybody from now on", a firm resolution was echoing in my body.

That day I became an entirely different being. I joined a gym in a next few days, in order to increase my strength.

"I won't be bullied by anyone, anymore", I thought as tears rolled from my eyes.

In the far away place, in a luxury apartment, Prem was on her bed, thinking about the incident that occurred few days ago and Raj voice was echoing in her mind.

" I think, I have done something wrong ", she thought before drifting in the sleep.
