My heart longs for the way the moon bounces off your skin, and the way your lips forming my name as you walk me home.
It longs for the strides in your steps as it shakes my world with the slightest movement, and the way your fingers form around mine—imitating the feeling of safety.
My heart looks for the way your eyes look into mine—finding a home after a lifetime of war. You found comfort in me, and I did the same in you.
My heart has been longing for you—for 3 years now. It longs for you while you rest 6 feet under ground.
