"Hey, buddy, back away from the anvil!" I stood up quickly, immediately looking in the direction of the voice. A woman with long, braided, hair, beautiful emerald green eyes, a decent curve, and a black apron on walked out of the doorway. Respecting her property, I backed away slowly.

"Excuse me, but may I ask a few questions?" I asked the lady. She looked at me and chuckled.

"As long as you're not going to be stupid, and if you're brief, then sure." She replied.

"Okay, first off, where is this?" I asked her. She looked at me with surprise.

"You don't know where you are!? This is Wolfthorne! Most populated area in kilometers!" She yelled.

"Oh..." I said, "Well then... Is there a place I can get supplies? Like tools and whatnot?" I asked the woman.

"If you're looking for tools, you've come to the right place." She answered, smiling.

"Wünderbar! Now... " I say, putting my hands together, as if I was praying. "I seem to be lacking payment options..." She laughed at this.

"You know what? For an idiot like you, I'll give you some freebies." She said. She walked back inside, and came out about three minutes later, tossing me a leather bag, containing an axe, pick axe, and a knife, all made of steel.

"Wow... I... Uh... Thanks!" I said gratefully, not really knowing what else to say.

"Eh, it's nothing! By the way, the name's Anya!" She said to me, with a cocky grin.

"I'm... Uh... I actually have no recollection of what happened before today..." I replied, dropping my head. She laughed at me again.

"You're Clayton!" Anya said, still laughing. I shrug, as I had no argument.

"Now, if you need anything, just drop by!" I nodded in confirmation.

"Now get outta here!" She yelled, shooing me away. I wave to her, and start walking back into the woods. I look at the sky, trying to see what time it was, to find out it was about noon.

"I should probably get some sort of shelter up." I thought to myself.

(Six hours pass.)

Exhausted, hungry, and unbelievably thirsty were the three things that described me at that moment. At least I had the structure of a house built.

"I should ask Anya if I could sleep at her house for tonight." I thought aloud. I put my bag over my shoulder, and started walking back to town. I started to get paranoid on the way back, feeling as if someone... Or something... Was watching me. I grab the knife Anya gave me from my belt loop, and I examined it closely. Two rings on it, one for my index finger, the other for my pinky. The blade was curved, serrated, and even had a point to help gut fish... Or something. Maybe open bottles?

When I arrived at the village, not a single being was on the gravel pathways. I started walking faster towards Anya's. Once I reached her house, I knocked on the door. She immediately looked through the window, and opened the door, holding a steel short sword.
