It was getting dark when I started walking towards the two. When we all met up, I looked at the two. Ventus wore his leather armor with iron upper body coverings. Zed wore full steel plate mail, and wielded a small, one handed war axe, accompanied by a large, round wooden shield.

"So comrade, are we ready to move?" Zed asks me. I slide my sword off my shoulder, and nod.

"Wait, we have horses." Ventus tells us. I then hitch my sword to my back.

"Where are they?" Zed asks. Ventus then points to the tavern, and starts walking towards the location of the horses.

We all walked silently, except for Zed, who was humming. Shortly after he started, the humming annoyed me.

"Would you kindly shut the fuck up?" I ask him. He looked shocked, but he stopped. We all came to the horses, which there was an all black one, an all gray, an all white one, and one that consisted of a few shades of brown. Zed instantly called dibs on the black one. Ventus unties the horse's hitch, then hops on its back.

"I guess I'll take the gray one..." I say, pointing at it.

"Nope, that's for your lady." Ventus tells me.

"Then the white one it is." I say, walking up to it.

"That's... Um... That woman who looks like Fiona. It belongs to her." I look around, not seeing another horse.

"Then am I walking? I'm pretty slow in this armor." I tell them. Ventus laughs a bit.

"That you are. Now, this is your ride." He said, pointing to the spot behind his horse I couldn't see. When I walk around to see what it was, I was absolutely shocked, and offended.

It was a mule. A fucking mule.
