Draco's POV

I woke up excited yet nervous for the day ahead, it was the first Hogsmeade visit of the school year and I'd be spending it with Ron. I dressed quickly and went down to the Great Hall for breakfast, I looked for those piercing blue eyes that belonged to none other than Ronald Weasley, but I couldn't find him nor the mop of red he calls hair. Was he regretting coming to Hogsmeade with me? I wondered as I sat at the Slytherin table, I piled food onto my plate as I watched the oak doors at the entrance, I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding when I saw Ron enter.

"Mate, you ok?" Blaise asked, I turned to look at him and nodded.

"I'm great," I said with a sheepish smile. "Why do you ask?"

"When Weasel walked in you let out a breath of relief, I was just making sure your heads screwed on right." He explained as he picked up a piece of bacon. "What are we doing in Hogsmeade?"

"Nothing, I'm going with someone else," I said simply as I took a drink of milk.

"Oh, who's the lucky girl?" He asked with a smirk.

"None of your business," I spat as I finished. He was shocked by my actions as I strutted out of the Hall making sure to wink at Ron as I left, I sat in the entrance hall and waited for everyone to be done. As Filch hobbled into the hall and the ones who were going to Hogsmeade filed out of the Great Hall I stood and looked around for a mop of red hair.

"Draco!" Some one called, I followed the hand that was beckoning me over and found that it belonged to none other than Ronald Weasley.

"Hey, mate," I said looking at the ground as I noticed Potter and Hermione were with him.

"Why'd you call him over?" Potter sneered with a confused look.

"Because I'm going to Hogsmeade with him," Ron said, I looked up and smiled at him, Hermione saw this and smiled at both of us. "Come on."

"Aren't you going to hangout with them for a bit?" I asked as his grip on my wrist tightened, making me blush a bit.

"Not after what happened last night," he said simply as we reached Filch, he checked us off and let us leave the hall.

"What happened?" I asked as he released his grip on my wrist.

"I told Harry that he was right about you being a Death Eater, and when he asked if we were still friends and when I told him yes, he threw a book at me. It hit me in the head and left a bit of a mark." He explained plainly, I immediately grabbed his face and started examining it to find the mark.

"Where's it at?" I asked, he chuckled and rubbed my waist a bit.

"Here, Pomfrey healed the cut but it still left a somewhat visible scar," he said pointing to a discoloration on his forehead.

"Are you ok? How many fingers am I holding up?" I asked holding up five fingers.

"Five, Draco, I'm fine I promise," he said with a chuckle as he removed my hand, I could've sworn that touch sent sparks up my arm.

"So where are we going first?" I asked as I cleared my throat.

"Actually, I have a bit of a surprise for you, it's a muggle thing but I think you'll like it," he said rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Lead the way," I said with a smile as he walked down the path to Hogsmeade. We walked in silence until we reached the Hogs Head, he grabbed my wrist and sighed as he looked around.

"What is it?" I asked with concern as he looked everywhere but at me.

"If you don't like this just tell me and we'll go to the Three Broomsticks, alright?" He asked as he loosened his grip on my wrist, I nodded and followed him into a small field a ways beyond the Hogs Head. It was decorated with flower petals, a small checkered blanket, a wooden basket, and a little bit of artificial snow covered the ground.
