Ok, we all know what happened after the Astronomy tower and for the sake of making this short we're going right to the end of the war.

Draco's POV

Minutes after Harry had disappeared into the Forbidden Forest the Dark Lord and his inner circle walked back into the front entrance of Hogwarts. The dark side and the light side stood on opposite sides of the yard, I saw Hagrid walking in front of the trusted Death Eaters with a lump in his arms.

"Harry Potter is dead!" Voldemort exclaimed putting his arms up with a shrill laugh.

Everyone gasped in surprise, I saw Ron and Snape start to crumple when they processed what was happening. Snape was starting to cry because he was with Harry since before Dumbledore died, and Ron because he was long term friends with the Boy Who Lived. I could tell Hermione wanted to cry but she held it in, just like me.

"Draco, come over here," my mother called waving me towards them.

I started walking towards them before someone gasped and pointed towards Hagrid. "He's alive," someone yelled happily pointing at Harry who was now standing next to Hagrid.

I smiled knowing hope was not yet lost and continued my way to my parents. I glanced at Ron and nodded before looking back at the scene unfolding in front of me.

"Neither can live while the other survives," Harry called out walking to the middle of the yard with his wand out. "And one of us is about to leave for good."

I don't know who yelled first or if they both yelled at the same time. Green and red sparks shot from both directions, they collided in the middle. Voldemort looked at the wand he wielded with shock as it wasn't beating Harry's disarming spell.

It happened in slow motion, Voldemort opened his mouth in a silent cry of pain before dissolving into thin air. Everyone cried out and cheered before greeting Harry with a pat on the back, I watched Ron walk up to him and hug him as well as Snape walking up to him to hold him.

I looked at my mother and smiled, she never wanted to be apart of the Death Eaters, but she fell in love with someone who was part of the inner circle. "I think someone wants to talk to you," she said dusting off my shoulders before turning me around.

There he was, standing in front of me with dirt on his face from all the debris. "Hey," Ron said shyly playing with the dust and chunks of stone.

"It's been awhile," I said reaching for his dirty hands.

"That it has, I'm sorry for leaving without saying goodbye," he said not meeting my eyes.

"It's fine, Ron, I understand completely," I said pulling him into a hug.

"Hey, look at me," he said softly in a broken voice.

"What is it?" I asked grabbing his face to look into his watery eyes.

"Kiss me," he stated plainly grabbing my hips firmly.

I smiled and pulled him into a kiss by the neck with a smile. The ecstasy of the moment had my wings ripping through my shirt and pulling us up in the air. "I missed doing that," he said with a smile putting his head on my shoulder. "Oh no."

"What?" I asked moving my hands to hold onto his waist.

"We're in the air," he said with a loud gulp before looking at me with a look of realization. "We're in the air, your wings, they're better!"

"You seem more excited than I was when I found out," I said with a chuckle pulling him back in for another kiss.

"Hey lovebirds, get your arses down here!" Someone yelled from the ground.
