Horace's POV

My ability to continue wandering around, probably aimlessly is dwindling. My eyes are drooping and I know I'll need to sleep soon. But with the events of the past few days I'm afraid of what sort of dreams I'll have.

I was only able to resist the call of sleep for about another half hour. My last few steps carried me to a hidden area under some fallen branches. As much as I despised getting dirty, after everything somehow the fallen leaves looked as comfortable as a mattress ever has.

It took about three seconds for me to fall asleep after laying down.

When all saw at first was black I'd had hope for a dreamless sleep.

This was not the case. Instead my unconscious vision faded into a scene with a strange red headed girl my age, Emma and Bronwyn. I couldn't hear what they were saying very well. But I picked up the part where Emma thought this girl could be the key to to getting everyone back as a group again. Then no one said anything and the girl closed her eyes.

After a while the girl said something about Jacob, and Emma looked shocked.

Then the vision faded into a new one of something invisible with the shadow of a hollow investigating the reckage of one of our life boats.

I started to panic so much I woke back up, with only minimal energy regained.

All this left me with only a faint hope that the red headed girl could manage to get us all back together before the hollow found any of us.
